Are you assistant TO the head coach? Or just assistant coach, Dwight?

That there is a lot more going on behind the scenes then just you and others thinking les is being a meanie for not playing your favorite player.

THERE IS A REASON LEE IS NOT PLAYING AND MILES IS NOT GOING TO TELL US. HE NEVER THROWS HIS PLAYERS UNDER THE BUS.

That is the next logical thought one is forced to take while still claiming to trust CLM... which is where I am at as a fan, and that why we all think CLM has alot of character... because he doesnt throw them under the bus, even when he fires coaches,, he does so with the upmost class and respect.. Lets just leave it at that..

I would have to believe this to be the case.

I certainly would not have been shocked as the season progressed to see JJ receive more snaps, but I still figured Lee would be called upon. He is not even under consideration for snaps at the moment, it appears.

Honest question, how many people saying CLM owes you (funniest ego maniacal crap ever) or poor-poor sad JL, have ever actually played or coached real tackle football past the 5th grade? Seriously check in.

Wow... you keep proving how stupid and immature you are about this whole situation.

Did you know that we're 13-0 and not 7-6?

And this whole "I am a paying customer" is the worst reason to demand an explanation. Miles has given all the fans a perfect season and is one game away from having one of the best season that any team has ever had.

And all you can do is bitch and moan about Lee being "disrespected".

frick you and your kind. Ungrateful POS.

Not when all we hear is how he is a team guy. I am so tired of hearing people say this when they don't know him or any of his teamates.

Bottom line is we don't know why he isn't playing and the logical explanation is it has to do with his grades.

I doubt he is the only player that feels slighted by lack of playing time.

There have been 1,000 threads on this topic and there will be more. Those that have taken a position will not waiver. Fine. I don't understand it and never will. JJ has done some good things, JL has too. JJ has issues, JL has too. I will never understand some of the decisions Miles makes and that's just the way it is. But the bottom line is, you will never get anywhere with some of the folks on this site and I know you really know that. Let's get off this subject, because it will get us nowhere. Let's all come together and pull for our team to win the MNC but whatever means possible. I feel you, but it's really not worth all this banter. Just sayin'

Hey, I don't really disagree. JJ has absolutely made me crazy plenty of times, but against a team when we are obviously going to have to run the option, JJ is the better choice..

I saw some comments on another thread that against UGA, field position was the determining factor according to Kragthorpe.

One of the things I love about CLM is that he keeps team issues to the team. If we know about it, you the opposing team will know about it. Kudos on the shroud of secrecy, keeps others guessing wth Les will do next. That being said, the part of me that likes to know the reason why would like him to explain, but that would be hypocritical to my previous statement so I tell that part of my brain to STHU.

Honestly, the only thing that bothers me about this senario at this point is this: If I was a stud high school quarterback being recruited by LSU, I would want the following questions answered:

1. Why can't a fifth year senior (JJ) throw the ball on time? Is it a development issue? What are you doing in practice to address it? Really, why does the receiver have to literally complete his route, come out of his break before the ball is thrown?

2. Why can't a fifth year senion (JL) see the blitz and throw accurately to his check downs?

I'm HOPING it is because JJ and JL just can't handle it and it is not coaching. God forbid, Mett resembles either one of these guys next year.

I have a ton of respect for JL and the way he has carried himself throughout his four years. I'll leave it at that.

The hell does that have to do with credibility?

I don't think Les owes ME Anything, but I do thinkthat Both HE and the LSU fan base owes LEE a lot more than we have given him thus far since the Alabama game he struggled in.

WOW you fans are at least some are so , smart . 0 1st downs in the 1st half , Has that ever happened in a LSU game before ?? Les is right this is a history making team . JJ was confused in the 1st half, yes it looks like he did beter in the 2nd half , why ?? #7 went to work . here is what JJ did Jordan Jefferson 5/13 <attempts 30 <yards PCT <38.5% 1 <TD
Do you think Saban will just let JJ stand back and give JJ all the time he needs to make a decison Jordan Jefferson ... cannot make snap adjustments fast . JJ had a 2.3 yards average per pass. And he had time in the 2nd half . That will not beat Bama right ? RIGHT !
For the next QB's thinking about LSUI they need to be remined why the mannings did not go to LSU , and told why Les played JJ instead of both players getting time . Remember the safety ??
Now for you who think JJ is our superman , i have 250 reasons why I want LSU to win . yes with a Bama fan , more or less to give him a chance to win his money reasons back.Odds are he will gert his money back. I look for a blowout in the rematch . I am not sure which team , the one that gets the fast knockout punch 1st . This will not be a close or low scoring game . JJ will have to be able to pass , the short passes he can't seem to complete , the long passes he either over throws or puts them in the ground 5 to 8 feet away from his target . JJ is a no factor in a game . The defense is the reason LSU has won . Will that be enough in New orleans ?? I do not think so. The QB will have to play above his level for LSU to win . If it had not ofbeen for J LEE this team would not be going to New Orleans . JJ would have made some of his mistakes like he did last season , this is almost the same team we had last season . The good thing is it will be even stronger next season . I look for the same team recod next season , That will be hard to do . But possible .
And for LSU to beat Bama JJ has to play a game like he has never played .
