Well Tots..they will split evenly, BUT Ford will be the starter and if one were to get more carries it would be him.

I don't think Ware will redshirt.
I hope he doesn't get his year wasted like D. Allen did, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him capitalize on the misfortune and inability of others.

I just cant see him getting in there while Ford is going to be fighting for carries also..I could be wrong but unless one of the upper classmen go down, I doubt we see ware

Freshmen must be punished if they carry for more than 100 yards per game, so look for him to get benched after he gains 110 vs. UNC. That will show him!!!!!!

Wilson is doing the rotation...the best player will play..hes the recruting coordinator, he will play underclassmen if they are good enough..big draw in recruiting

LSU's problem is the OL and that when you recruit great RB's you have to recruit great OL's also. It seems to me that OL's are what LSU is lacking in order to have a good running attack. When LSU goes back to getting great OL's that is when LSU will once again have a good running attack.
LSU has a number of great RB's and because of it the number and Mile's tendency to play upper classmen first will limit the number of carries. Murphy and Ridley will be first and then the rest. To me depending on who breaks out of the pack as the one who realy wants it the most, much like Hester did back in '07, will get the bulk of the carries.
I hope we have a good running game but there are too many RB's for just one of them to have 1000 yards so I believe we will have about 250 yards a game rushing, maybe 300, and if the passing game picks up they could average 300 to 350 yards a game.
To evenly divide 250 yards, maybe 300, among 4 RB's and Russell Shepherd will not be enough to give a single runner 900 yards for the year much less 1000, unless 1 breaks out 1000 may be to few. Now there is one exception to this and that is if one of those backs can break out with a larger number of yards maybe 150 yards a game, on a few carries then you can have a large yardage back. We will see soon and that is what makes me so excited about this coming year. If we can have a good enough OL so that 1 of these backs can break loose and have a breakout season we could be in for something special. Maybe even a BCS NC!

Ridley and Ford will be our one two punch with Rm getting a few sprinkled in. I know they hype for RM but all I have ever seen with a few exception touches is dance dance dance tackle. Now his knee is repaired but who knows. People forget knee injuries for RB are either hit or miss.Alley was never the same after his just to name someone. And I think Ford gets more carries than RM and depending on performance maybe Ridley too. I am not sure if he breaks 900 yards but I believe he will be close.
