Omar came here from Oregon state and was an absolute monster there. Came here and due to crap coaching never realized his potential.

The frustrating thing about Omar was that he looked like he wasn't trying or did not give a shite.

That told me all I needed to know about the coaches, he knew they were shite.

The career of Al Woods was biggest surprise for me. Good for him

I think the same about Ethan Pocic. He was a solid lineman at LSU, but he's been a consistent starter for a couple of teams for nine years now. Almost 100 starts over that time.

Jay Ward quietly rising up the Vikings roster. Made it on special teams play but got a lot of defensive play this season.

Fricking Danielle Hunter had 4.5 sacks in 3 years at LSU. Now he’s a perennial NFL Pro Bowler

Isn’t he the one they basically told him day 1 “whatever they(lsu coaches) were teaching you was wrong”

Jayden Daniels

I thought Daniels was not built to take the punishment at QB. He has the tools.
However he has been injured and missed games both seasons.
He has proven that he is an excellent QB. His health is still a question.

Terrible post. Why call out former LSU athletes. That’s the athletes that made LSU. Even the subs are important. Wow

I was gonna say James Wright, but I'll add Stephen Sullivan. Thought he would never make it in the NFL yet he played about 5-6 years.

Some good names listed already. A few others:

Spencer Ware, Darrel Williams, Trindon Holiday

Best example may be Ryan Clark actually

If you don’t have 200 tackles, 30 sacks and 10 picks, LSU “fans” think you sucked!

Tharold Simon. I definitely did not see him as a multi year starter. For a good defensive team too
