You really dont think the push back is offensive? I'm a black Male who served in the army and never been to jail but has been harrassed by police on many occasions including having guns pointed at me for no reason. You don't think those young men have not experienced the same, they don't fear being harrassed by police or even shoot? You truly believe that some of the messages that are being posted dont bother those young men. Football is more important than how most black men feel is what most fans are saying.

It doesn’t matter what Ja’Marr’s reason or reasons for opting out were. He doesn’t owe the fans anything. He alone put in the work and earned the right to forgo this year and enter the draft.

I agree with your overall point (let the kid decide what’s best for himself), but I do not agree with the “alone” part. A LOT of people inside the program helped him get to where he’s at today...Yes, he undoubtedly put in the work and deserves everything coming to him, and technically/legally he doesn’t “owe” anybody anything, but he absolutely didn’t get here alone. He benefitted from resources and exposure and training that very few athletes will ever have access to.
