Don't know why this is downvoted. Mett should have been the starting QB after it was clear others couldn't pass.
Les should've tried anything and everything to try to light a spark on offense. But he did absolutely nothing and drove the plane straight into the ground.
By contrast, Saban replaced Jalen Hurts at halftime of the NC game against UGA with a freshman (Tua). And won.

The run defense wasn’t a disaster in 23. It was really the secondary being so young that killed us.
