I can't stand Bama but my hate for that program is not influencing my opinion of any of these calls or non-calls. Georgia got screwed.
only losers continuously bitch about the refs. And now we're doing it on behalf of OTHER teams. Good lord.

EVERY team can point to bad calls in every game. Hell, UGA's receiver clearly stepped out of bounds on that long TD but the refs didn't call it.

The door swings both ways.

I agree. They were intentionally fricked.

They have every right to be upset. Even calls in games not involving Bama go Bama's way.

No they didn't. But at least the fricking replay booth reviewed it. Did they replay the false start (which wasn't called) on the bama receiver on their last touchdown during regulation? If they did, I missed them doing it.

How about the offsides call against Georgia on the blocked punt. Do you think that Georgia player was offside? Or any Georgia player on that particular play? I believe they reviewed that play and the announcers said they didn't see anyone offside, but by God, the offsides penalty stood.

How about the face mask on the Georgia running back. Right out in the fricking open. Guess what. No fricking penalty. Or the Georgia QB getting tackled and then having his head pushed down by a bama defender. Again, no penalty. I would have loved to see a Georgia player do the same thing to one of the bama QB's. That field would have been littered with penalty flags.

Yes it does. It just happened to swing bama's way more than it did Georgia's way.

I didn't notice that live, but they can't review that.

again, they can't review that. But it was either offsides or a false start against Bama, so the blocked punt wouldn't have stood anyway.

yes, that was one they missed.

that wasn't severe enough for a penalty. It was bush league of the guy to do it, but not severe enough.

I just HATE the hindsight bitching about bad calls. Yes, we get bad calls, but every team does. And you can't honestly think the refs in the NC game (which were Big 10 refs) were biased for Bama. You just can't rationally believe that.

ETA: I live in Atlanta and actually like UGA, so I've got no personal bias in this case.

That's the same thing I saw watching the game. offsides or false start against Bama. So why in the world did the officials penalize Georgia for Bama's penalty?

I agree that every team does. Hell, in my opinion, the Georgia receiver stepped out of bounds on the long touchdown reception. I was shocked they didn't over rule the call on the field. But for me, the calls, or the non-calls, and the timing of them always seems to benefit Bama.

Sour grapes, I know.
