He’s a troll. That’s not something you want to be good at. If his only purpose is to just be reactionary, then it’s stunning he is still employed.

Well I disagree with the word "troll." He'd be a troll if he was calling for the Tigers to go 3-9 and lose to Tulane at home. Anyway, Guilbeau is Mainstream Media and therefore incapable of trolling. He's on a higher plane than those blogger ruffians.
I was a freshman at LSU during the Sweet 16 year. That winter Arizona came to the PMAC ranked like #2, and the Tigers were still a fairly unknown commodity. A Reveille writer named Chris something wrote a lengthy screed about how the Tigers had no chance, and Arizona would wipe the floor with us.
We won that game, and the writer was apparently deluged by emails and IMs (including some from my roommate) telling him how much he sucked. Thing is, that proved that people were reading his column. From then on out I noticed that he adopted a snide persona and picked against the Tigers pretty regularly. And my roommate, who never really read the newspaper, used to always bitch about this guy. So apparently this strategy works.

the last Saban signees-- Harry Coleman
um...
fact check?
Harry was signed the last year of Saban. He spent a year getting his grades up before joining the team.

Whats bad is that Guilbeau thinks he is funny. He thinks these lil scoring scenarios are just hilarious. Seems like he just wants to ruin lsu fans anticipation,

Glenn Guilbeau is the worst college football beatwriter in America.

It’s just the lowest form of art (or in this case, journalism). I have no respect for the shock artist.

Harry Coleman graduated high school in 2003, enrolled at LSU in spring 2004, redshirted 2005. You should fact check before making an arse out of yourself.
