Gottlieb should just shut the hell up. He is such a hypocrite, the little thief. Easily the worst of the espn radio guys.. He's a timelslot hit, ridin Van Pelt's coat tails. Kinda like "A Different World" was to the Cosby Show..

Gotleib played college and semi-pro basketball correct?
He talks like he was an all pro about his playing days. This is like uncle rico from napoleon dynomite.

for the recrod he didn't call Miles "low-life scum". he called the action of calling a recruit out publicly a low-like scum thing to do.
Then he backpedalled real quick and said "Les Miles is my friend"

Les's comments were to boosters and fans of LSU. It wasn't said at a press conference or anything like that. It was a statement that encompassed the feelings of some of the fans and Miles voiced it to the fans not anyone else. If it hurts the feelings of an 18 y/o ND recruit, tough shite. Welcome to life. If the Miles bashers want to run with it, go ahead.....it will be forgotten by next week.

this... remember when miles slammed southern cal at an LSU function and wittle wouthern wal had its wittle feelings hurt?
I wasn't at the bayou bash but from what I have read this simply seems like pep rally smack... miles also has expressed some empathy for kiel.
anyone recall when lou holtz blasted the high school kicker that chose bowden and florida state over the fighting irish? talk about your butt-hurt coaches...

Nor I. Everyone is saying he is just an 18 year old kid. Cry me a river. Lots of 18 year olds suiting up and headed off to war. Kid needs a reality check and should not get a pass for being weak and indecisive.
