Said it before, will say it again...

We are running the table this year, fellas. 14-0 is coming, and we are repeating as national champs. We'll beat Ohio State again to do it too.

You aren't plenty deep on the OL. That would be a lie. And having another body to replace him is not being deep. Georgia only returns 2 starters o nthe OL now and they're both only sophomores.

LSU should chew up that OL in Death Valley. Hopefully our QB don't blow the game.

Well in respect to ASU, their OL should be better with an offseason, and if it's not, I look for a lot of short quick passes and screens to get some yards so he isn't in the pocket too long

If that's all they can do, then good luck when defenses stack the box and walk up the safeties cuz u can't throw deep. No way to stay with high scoring offenses in PAC-10. The importance of an good offensive line can never be underestimated.

Dammit, I sound like Dan Dierdorf.

They actually lost either 3 or 4 starters on the OL from what I read.

All good points and let me clarify that I meant "ASU will be a NASTY game, not nec. that ASU will be a nasty team"...my bad.

USC is not gonna have to score alot cause their defense will be simply nasty. Everson Griffen will have a breakout year at DE..their LBs are the best in college along with a really solid group of DBs. Im not discounting their offensive weapons, it's just that I dont think they will need alot of offense this year.

I think Beckham or whoever else may QB for OSU will be in big trouble against USC....as will any other QBs facing USC.

Griffen will have at least 15 sacks this year.

Also, Does anyone slightly agree with me that Phat Phil may have his team ready to steal the EAST? I love our OL but from what I reading and hearing about UT OL, these guys are huge, strong and mean. They return ALL 5 starters and I love Eric Berry as a playmaker of Defense...that dude can flat out play.

Back ot my original thread, not sure what the line is going to be against UCLA, but I cannot see UT laying a 2nd egg in a row on the Left Coast.

UT might crush a Walk On QB for UCLA both starters for UCLA are OUT.

I am predicting a UT-LSU SEC Title game again!

Hou-Bengal-

So you give edges to both defenses in this SC-tOSU game? I do love Ray Malaloula (Spelling?), but I just see the OSU OL hanging in there against USC.

People may be underestimating the Buckeyes bc of what we did to them last year and Florida.

I think Beanie Wells is awesome and could play for us anyday...which is how I evaluate talent. As on offense, outside of QB and still not sure of that right now, I do not think 1 USC player other than their starting RT I believe, starts for us on August 30.

Who do you thinks wins the SC game? Sounds like you think SC in a low scoring affair.

I think it is OSU 23-17 or so.

Me too. OSU has to keep it close so they can wear them down with Beanie. I got OSU going to Miami.

Rolling---

I just dont think OSU has nearly enough on offense to do much against that SC defense. The speed and power is just crazy. Again..I think a guy like Griffen is gonna be in the OSU backfield all day unless they double him.

USC has lots more weapons on offense to deal with a talented and experienced OSU defense..Hazelton, Turner, and McKnight are supremely talented and will have great years IMO..and it's a home game for SC.

I think it will be a fairly close game simply because OSU returns so many starters from a BCS runner-up team...but they wont have enough to beat SC at home imo.

I think USC wins that game, but not by a wide margin, maybe 28-20/24. Then everybody will starts the lovefest about how good USC is b/c they beat OSU, but I am going with Wisconsin to win the big10 this year.

Hmm....actually, we are plenty deep. We only return two starters when we had THREE freshmen starting last year? What a dumbass. Go flame somewhere else, genius

We'll find out in Baton Rouge won't we...against the best DL in the country. Better hope your RT can passblock or Tyson's gonna eat his lunch.

D-Dawg-

May I ask again, with that schedule, what is your prediction on the year without a LT. I think LSU will go 10-2 on the year and play for the SEC Title...I just think it is too much to ask of a Frosh to go on the road and win a game for us...of course, we "Could" run the table and are talented enough to do so, but all things would have to fall our way, like the the injuries I mentioned originally.

Florida is already weak on D and injuries are mounting. UGA thin on the OL and just got weaker. Auburn loses a starting S.

What say you?
