Now that I'm re-watching this, Jesus Dupre. We probably could have won
Also, Fournette is our best WR
Harris still throwing too high

Thank you for sharing this. It absolutely tells me he actually had a nice game but for the last play. Which obviously he lost his composure .
Dupre needs to catch the ball.
GUICE wide open for TD on last play. Perfect play call. Bad line play.

Everyone keeps saying this, is there a link where I can see that?

I was literally about to post how our tackles got destroyed and our interior couldn't pick up blitzes
Receivers need to do a better job on jump balls (malachi is soft)
Harris needs better footwork, needs to square up and also utilize his athleticism
Watching that I'm not as upset with his play. Seems he did as well as he could considering the circumstance

He can't run spread option Untill he can make the right read. His read options are pre-determined:. Maybe a run in shoot style out of shotgun but he just doesn't read defenses well. Just like Jeremy Johnson. Hell even Gus realizes a few games in he wasn't smart enough to run a college offense

That first pass is the epitome of the issues this place has with Miles, and rightfully so. Two routes, rolling left with a right-handed QB. That is the first play we decide to run to bring him into the game with a confidence booster.
Thanks for the video but it does nothing to foster any hope in this staff. 3 of the first 4 pass plays had 2 WR routes. That is it. The only 3 WR+ routes are in painfully obvious passing downs. We are throwing Harris to the wolves.

The link is on the OP. Go to last play Guice runs a whee route wideout runs a tight hook and is covered man to man by safety . Linebacker sitting tight on LOS takes Guice out the backfield and doesn't turn to run Til Guice is at LOS. Which of course is the same time Harris has to roll left .

He has the tools. This was a GD bullet.

Observations:
not a single look to 2nd WR. Every throw was his first look

You must be looking at a different tape than I am.

3rd pass 4th pass and first pass of second half. All secondary receivers. I stopped reviewing after that

You people are fricking ridiculous. When he has time, he does fine. He often only has 1 or 2 reads in the first place.

It really wasn't that terrible of a game. The recievers let him down on so many passes that could've moved us down the field. Sure they weren't perfect passes, but if you consider yourself an elite reciever you make those catches.

Rewatching that, I have to agree. Most of his throws weren't terrible. Who he chose to throw to wasn't always the best decision, some were high but catchable, and some of his throws were just god awful. But like most people have said all week. It's not necessarily him, it's the guys coaching him.

Has anyone noticed LF false starts on the play of his downfield catch?
Posted on 9/7/16 at 8:59 pm to slackster
My question is, why have one of our two WR so close to the line. It would seem to just bring another defender near the box that LF7 has to deal with on running plays. Also, when the fullback is in, the Wisconsin Safety was clearly cheating into the box. When the fullback is out, and another WR is in, it pulls the safety allowing more room for LF7. I just don't get what they are trying to accomplish other than breaking containment for the home run.

Add me to the "wow he really wasn't as bad as I thought" crowd. Sure he had some overthrown balls, but like mentioned, Dupre missed some good balls that would have moved the chains.
