You are either an idiot, or a family member. You think any rational LSU fan wants him starting over mett next year...haven't you seen enough triple digit offensive rankings and 3 and outs? You people, I swear. Transfer him, Mett to starting qb next year, and if you want a running mix.....magee or randle.....get real people....jj sucked at lsu....
You are a foolish child. My love of LSU runs much deeper than you could ever comprehend. You, sir, will never get it.
And, you should try your hand at context.......I never, EVER said I wanted him starting.

no im being a realist and stating what would help both sides. JJ isn't a sec qb, sometimes players just dont pan out and jj is one of them. He might have been ruined by gary or maybe he never had it. It doesn't matter to me. What I am interested in is what is best for LSU and what will help jj later in life. That is JJ getting his degree and getting a shot at a smaller school.

You're going on record with JJ doesn't deserve to be back on the roster if innocent?
That's pretty bold.
No, dumbass. I'm saying he doesn't need to be a part of the offense.

Haha these pissing matches are soooo entertaining. But the best part will be the meltdown that insues IF JJ is reinstated and Miles decides he wants him to hae a few snaps because there are alot of dumbasses on here that have suc a personal hate for a guy that did all he could to win for the idiotic fans that we have. I will take the sit back and relax approach and cheer for whoever is on the field.
Oo and I'll be waiting for all the season tix to go on sale after he gets in some games since so many habe said they are selling their tix if he sees another snap

Are you a coach? If so, do you believe yourself a better coach than Les Miles? If so, why haven't you excelled?

we really just dont have a spot for him. the offense is humming along and we have 10 kickers. So once again the best choice is degree and transfer somewhere that fits him better.
Him being a qb/kicker should help him out and gain him some more national pub.

you think the coaches are always right? is four touch downs and less than 100 yards passing in about half the games an sec qb? the kid is not a sec qb. I dont know why you want to damage him and LSU by forcing him into something he isn't.

you guys think JJ is a good runner...simply because he couldn't pass....so his limited running ability made it seem like he could run....but if you had to compare him to almost any other running qb on the team, or rb....he loses in a landslide. Get real.
This guy gets it

that's not a determination for you to make. Les has got this. it'll all work out.

Yes we do, holding a clip board. But then, that is a big risk we take doing that. JJ doesn't seem like one to sit quietly....he is a proven pouter. I could see him trying to gain support within the team...to play.....and we know where that will lead.

Many of you do LSU's winningest coach a disservice and a discredit when you ridicule the idea of reinstating JJ due to simply assuming Les Miles will forsake HIS team for a perceived loyalty to JJ that would bump Lee.
So, the simple fear of Les liking JJ more than Lee and him playing him, you believe he (JJ) should transfer/leave/frick off.
fricking stupid AND immoral.....naw, just stupid. Gauging morality takes a tickle between the ears.

how is it immoral for jj to get a degree and go on to have success at a school that is more suited to his talent? It is the wise business move for jj.
nothing immoral about a kid getting a degree and a shot in the future. He doesn't have much shot here with lee piling up numbers and mett being the future.
JJ would get spot starts at best if an injury happened. Seems kinda selfish of you to want to bring jj back in so he can just stand on the sidelines.

so has les ever made a mistake?

Lee was the starter until an injury "took away" that opportunity. Why wasn't he immediately inserted back into the lineup?
JJ deserves nothing, life isn't fair. The offense is doing fine; there's no need to force something that isn't needed.
Agreed, Life is definitely not always fair. Why didn't Drew Bledsoe come back in the starting role when he was ready, or better yet, how does Joe Montana lose his starting job. Sometimes Things happen.

Shep and ware could both operate the wildcat. Not saying JJ can't, but the format of this thread implies we can't run the wildcat without him.
QB is the only position where it isn't ideal to rotate.

What the hell does your love for lsu have to do with this situation? Mine goes very deep as well...and for many years. That is beside the point though. LSU has had an awful offense under JJ, in fact, triple digit rankings the past two years, or right at it. We probably led the league in 3 and outs. That is the biggest change this year, much less 3 and outs...and of course the obvious passing threat LSU now has. I DO NOT want JJ anywhere near that offense next year with a stud like Mett waiting in the wings. I think Les and Co. have seen now what can be accomplished without a "running qb". I also think Mett will be much better than Lee, and I love what Lee is doing this year. It is because of my love for LSU that I don't want JJ anywhere around it. There are a lot of kids who bleed purple and gold that are not quite good enough to play for the Tigers. IMO, JJ is one of them.

My point of view is allowing him the opportunity that was taken from him.
