You mean Curtis My Favorite Martin! Remember that on sportscenter? Anyway, what about the Nigerian Nightmare, Christian Okoye or Alstott?

According to some on here, he didn't deserve to be on the field. I guess that's why they're working at Cane's and not in the coaching profession.
90% of the people on this board hated him while he was here...now he's a god.
im sorry he's gone...i would trade all three guys in our backfield this year for 3 guys that ran as hard and downfield as he did.

I think the hate was based solely on the HS he came from. This board has taught me that tigers do eat their own. The number of JH haters here, has me convinced that the love will only be spread if you are from certain schools. Mosly, from the folks who claim to be experts, yet regirtitate info readily available to anyone with a keyboard.

Would you also agree that if he's used correctly (similar to college) he's a fantasy football gem.
sure...I'd like to see him up against a 1st team NFL D first. For San Diego to use him correctly, they'd have to be willing to bench LT in favor of Hester in goal line situations to make him a fantasy gem IMO.
Bottom line is that if he continues being the athlete that he is, he will be successful.

You have to love that guy. Going to the NFL and running over the Dalls cowboys inside linebacker.

In the NFL, a player with the skill set that of Hester's will be around for a long time. The guy can run, block for the running back, provide pass protection for the quarterback, catch out of the backfield, and play special teams. Barring any major injuries, I see Jacob in the NFL for at least 10 years. He may never see the Pro Bowl, at least as a feature back.
But with the excellent team he's on, and his strong contributions, he'll be fitted for a shiny Super Bowl ring a couple of times. I'm impressed by the front office of the Chargers. They keep finding gems like Hester, Antonio Gates, Cromartie, and Castillo. They were risking a lot when they Brees go, but Rivers looks like he may be something.
