Why can't he do both?
Name me a great quarterback that was an immature "funny guy" and I'll name you 10 that weren't.

I guess AJ McCarrons tat keeps him from being as good as Geno Smith.
Well sir, if you can't understand how a mustache makes a WR drop a ball, then you aren't a proper holier than thou no-nonsense LSU fan.

People who annointed him the Mettsiah and predicted he would win the Heisman are now pissed because he isnt putting up Geno Smith type numbers. There was no way that this was going to happen and fans are mad that the purple and gold glasses are cracked. Unrealistic expectations are the trademark of LSU fans and this is another classic example. He is throwing for 200 yards a game in a multiple pro offense, has thrown only 2 picks, and is completing 65 percent of his passes (would be around 72 percent if not for a ton of drops). Hes a first year starter and you are getting first year starter results. LSU is 5-0 and struggling early isnt always a bad thing. You find out what works and what doesnt and know where to correct and it helps in future preperation.
There is much truth contained in these words. Are you an LSU fan?

Neither you or I know shite about the personal lives of collegiate and NFL QB's. But keep trying.

I think when combined with a turtleneck, it also leads to OL blocking issues.

These guys all get quite enough media attention/camera time to get a good enough read. The whole book on the kid was that he was immature. It's been discussed ad nauseum. Come on man. Frankly, I think Mett has all the tools but he really does need to get a little more serious.

This shite will be hysterical in retrospect. Right now it just seems pathetic.

ESPN U saying our QB efficiency through 5 games last year was better then this year.
We only threw the ball like 12 times a game people we're trying to throw it 25 times now.

What book was this?

I was saying all off season we werent going to throw the ball and people were going to be bitching ab the qb. Every year, and i mean every, the back up qb is the most popular player on the team.
Posted on 10/1/12 at 1:08 am to gotygers
The sacks arent just the oline, we have had subpar wr play for years and every one wants to blame the qb or oline. Wrs dont get open and you have an oaf at qb, hes going to get sacked if he doesnt throw it away. Coverage sacks happen, and it happened on saturday.
Also, ware, hilliard, and ford all fumbled the ball. Unacceptable. No room left in the dog house.

Somehow I missed reading that...

What? I mean, er, geez, I'm speechless on this one.

It has become obvious to me over the past few years that this staff is not capable of developing a QB. Lesticles needs to hire a real OC and a QB coach.
Just my opinion!

It is sad that the Cajun is the only one on here making sense.

Scoop is right. We need an offensive version of Chavis, and let Les focus on hauling in the talent, cranking out outrageous quotes and keeping track of downs. Watching a clip on ESPN of Okie State, and wishing we could get Monken back to LSU as our OC.
