Wrong.

Why else did we get Oklahoma as the 4 seed in 2019 and the darlings Ohio State get Clemson?

LSU beat way more ranked teams than Ohio State.

I’m so excited, because honestly I only hate Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, etc. because they are media darlings who play no one and clog up spots when it’s on a 2 or 4 team playoff, now, it’s like I can now at least swallow their accomplishments because if LSU isn’t in the top 12, that means they have 4 losses and with 4 losses you do not deserve to be contention. The new CFP allows for shootouts with say Tulane and ND in south bend, during December, whose not Fing excited for that.

What would've been really cool is a format like this:

12 teams - P5 conf. champs, 7 at larges chosen by playoff committee

12 chosen teams ranked by BCS (or Playoff Committee if this is an issue, but I like the idea of the BCS)

1st Round:
5 v 12 at 5's home
6 v 11 at 6's home
7 v 10 at 7's home
8 v 9 at 8's home

(assuming favorites all win)

2nd Round:
1 v 8 at 1's home
2 v 7 at 2's home
3 v 6 at 3's home
4 v 5 at 4's home

3rd Round/Semis:
Winning 4 play in the current playoff format using 2 rotating semifinal bowl games

4th Round/Final:
and a rotating championship game.

Give the fans a chance to see their teams play the playoffs at home like the NFL. Think about home playoff games on New Years Eve and New Years Day. That would be fricking AMAZING. Those atmospheres would be legendary.
