this game scares the hell out of me. although, pretty much every game does. biggest reason is it's the first game of the season,so who knows whats going to happen. i do think we win it fairly convincingly (2 td's) , but if we lost, i wouldn't be shocked, just destroyed.

Their team was like ours last year, freshman stacked. I see both teams coming back better. TCU's defense is no slouch as they play against the pass happy Big 12 league and consistently remain in the top 20-25 since Patterson's arrival. If we put a showing on against them then this offense is legit.

My goodness 42-10? There are some ridiculous scores on this thread. I have said all along the Tigers will win. If you have read my previous posts I have a connection with LSU and consider the Tigers my second team, so I come in peace.
First of all I definitely do not see the Frogs being ranked ahead of the Tigers to start this season. Which is good because I wouldn't wanna piss off Ego and the boys before they even take the field.
Secondly, for the posters listing the scores of the Frogs games last year, Texas Tech was triple OT and West Va was overtime as well. The Frogs had the number 1 defense in the Big 12. Now we bring back 9 from that defense.
So bringing up scores like 43-10 compared to the likes of Towson and N. Texas...yeesh. I think some will be disappointed and call for Cam Cams firing after game 1.
My prediction: 24-14 Tigers but could see the tigers winning by as much as 17 towards the end of the game.

Considering the type of offenses in the Big 12, I would say it is an accomplishment. However, doesn't make you a winning team
