maybe he's coaching a team that won 10 games last year and is pretty devoid of talent. We have no size downlow to play with teams that have solid bigs. That's why we consistently give up points in the paint and are outrebounded every game. Effort only takes you so far, and in this case to second round of the NIT which is far better than anyone expected out of this team

Defense is the one position where coaching makes a difference. Just because y'all have 4 and 5 stars coming in, doesnt mean the defense will suddenly turn into a defensive juggernaut. In fact it may be the opposite, because they play zero defense in AAU, not to mention Wade is a mediocre defensive coach.

They've been bad on defense all season long. It's not just tonight.
There is reason to believe they won't be this bad on defense next year. But it's also a legitimate concern going into next season.
A lack of talent explains some of the problems (perhaps most), but it doesn't completely account for them being lost game in and game out. SOMETHING isn't getting completely through

It's not defense when one team pulls up and makes like 80 percent from 25 feet away from basket. It's thier night it happens sometimes . Don't come here and say that bs . Wade got all the lemonade he could from this lemon.

He will bring back Waters who will be an SEC player of the year candidate, plus 4 of the top 50 high school players in America. Next year is the judgement year, but I think we will all be very pleased. People just take for granted how horrifically bad we were last year.

Guy can flat out coach. Better hope we can keep him actually. Very passionate . Only player that was worth a crap available that he actually got was waters , others he got out of nessasity. JJ didn't leave much talent . Think about it guys and gals we had freaking Trent Johnson and JJ recruiting for LSU for last few years. Give Will time. We all are going to enjoy the ride.

Emotional is right. Wade has done extraordinarily well with the product he was given. 99% of the people on this site complain about any loss by LSU. The same voices screamed for JJ. He set the program back years. He is now the expert for Musselman at Nevada. Stick with this intelligent young coach. He is a program builder.
