you can't answer a question with a question.

He did, plus he also had Joe Addai.
LOL at Addai being there. That pretty much rests my case that you are pretty clueless here.
10 TDs less, 800 rushing yards less.
Also, do me a favor, how many yards did we rush for in our 2 losses in 2006??
And how many did we rush for in our 2 losses in 2007?
Yea.

come on its kinda fun to see some Tiger fans get so upset... I put a "W" by my name and they blow a fuse if I mention anything negative about Tigers.
According to Rant JJ is second coming of Matt Leinart in college and this defense will be better than 85 Bears because we have Chavis.

No JJ is the second coming of Jesis Christ himself... but don't worry Russell Sheppard is God, so JJ will win a NC this year, then 2 more once RS takes over, and also RS will win two Heismans
And our defense will be the greatest everr... and will give up 21 points.............. the ENTIRE YEAR

In reality JR suffered what Manning did at Tennessee was a great QB with a good team. The next year under a less talented QB things just broke right and they won. Funny thing is I doubt Tennessee fans say Tee Martin is better than Manning because he won a NC and Manning did not.

Under Chavis, Riley, Cutrera, and Coleman will look like Lawrence Taylor, Dick Butkus, and Mike Singletary...

things would however be different if Manning was a flop in the NFL...

so you think JR is a "flop" in the NFL? the dude got drafted to literally the worst franchise the NFL has seen the last 7 or 8 years...
there is no doubt in my mind that if he got drafted anywhere else not only would his production be up, but he'd be considered one of the best up and coming QBs in the league

And your probably right on that one...
Flynn won a NC and some people put him in top 5 all-time LSU QB's.

he played for one damn season and put up above average numbers....wow.
i mean, i appreciate what he did for us just as much as the next, but that's ludicrous...

Yea but remember Manning went to a pretty bad Colts team and turned them around. All it takes is 1 player to bring out the greatness in other players. I know they are the Raiders but they have talent their. Fargas/McFadden is a good running back combo. The receivers are honestly no worse than what Saints run out there every week.
You could argue Colston but the rest are no worse than Devery/Moore.
Until he produces he will be considered a bust and this is year 3 so its do or die... Remember Kyle Boller, Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf were all big cannon arm QB's who did not pan out for one reason or next. This year JR either goes that route or get his act together like McNabb/Culpepper/Manning did.

oh i agree with you...i don't think he's proven anything in the NFL yet. it's just unfortunate for him that he got drafted into such a shitty situation. the raiders have some talent, but let's be honest...their roster has nothing that compares to some of the top-tier teams. hell, they got flat-out embarrassed by a mediocre yet explosive Saints team last year, 34-3.

If Raiders can get the right coach in there (big IF) they could be one of those teams that make a quick turn around. I mean you have a decent stable of RB, a young QB, decent WR's... I mean look at Falcons last year Matt Ryan comes in turns their WR's, who most considered a bust, into a strong unit and Roddy White pro-bowl consideration.
Is JR willing to do those little things to make himself better? Is he playing to be the best ever or is he playing to make the big paychecks. Cause as we have seen in NFL even after his rookie contract some team will pay him a nice contract cause a coach still see's that potential in their.

Wait, wait wait.
You think the Raiders WRs are as good as the Saints?
Dude, just about ANYBODY I've ever talked to, every last one of them agree that the Raiders had pretty much by far the worst WR corps in the NFL last year, not even close.
And as for others calling Russell a bust or flop or whatever, dude started 1 year as the youngest starting QB in the NFl for crying out loud.
It took John Elway something like 5 or 6 years before he had more TDs than INTs, and after TEN years for Elway, he had 1 more TD than INT.
So, let's hold up on this bust thing for minute, good lord.

agreed, Shel...i wasn't going to say anything because I didn't know if it was just my Saints bias coming out, but you're always there to back me up.
