I disagree with statement Saban put LSU back on the map. Saban took LSU back to the prommise land by winning the first BCS championship for the program. Dinardo put LSU back on the map during his first and second seasons as head coach. Dinardo was the coach who took over for the hapless Curley Halman. Dinardo put LSU back on the map when convience Kevin Faulk to sign with the Tigers. He went out that season and brought back the magic to Baton Rouge. Dinardo went 10-2 his second season and beat the number one ranked team in the country the Florida gators in his third season.
Dinardo may have had his short commings but a lot is to be owed to him for resurrection the LSU program from the depth's that it had sunken to under Hallman.

You probably didn't even hear what he said or the context. It was not a comment made in anmger or jealous, just a statement about the way he was and treated people sometimes basically.

The man crushes that posters still have for Saban seven years removed from the program, while coaching at our biggest competitor in the league, that just beat us for the NC, makes me want to vomit.

So did I. My daughter refer to him as Benedict Arnold. I refer to him as A$$whole. Always have. Thought he was arrogant when at LSU. To be honest with you I don't like Miles either. Never have. especially after 1/9/12. Don't care if I never go to another game while he is there. I'll keep giving my season tickets to my daughter and watching(sometimes) the game from FARR Park on TV.....and I am being nice about it too. Steve

One of the guys on the show said Saban's assistants put in longer hours and Charles disagreed. They discussed how if you ask the staff, Miles is just as demanding. They sparred back and forth, one of the guys said it was like working in a sweatshop as an assistant under Saban, and then Charles made a statement to the effect that even though the HC pushes the staff hard he doesn't have to be a jackass, which insinuates that Saban is a jackass.
I love Les Miles, he's shown loyalty to LSU when his alma mater has come calling twice. He has lead us to 3 SECCG, 2 SEC titles, 2NCG, 1 NC, and 75-18 in 7 seasons. I hate some of the decisions that get made during the football season, but at the end of the day, LSU is a very good spot and alot of that has to do with Miles.
I will always appreciate Saban for his time at LSU. He brought us a NC and 2 SEC titles during his time. However, it is common knowledge that the man is a jackass. That's not sour grapes. I think he is a wonderful coach, but there is a reason assistants don't stay with him long, and a reason he doesn't stay in one place for too long. He is not a happy or pleasant person. Everyone knows it, everyone accepts it, so there is no need to bash on Charles for calling a spade a spade.

He could beat LSU for the next 20 years or lose to LSU for the next 20 years. He was a dick before he came to LSU, he was a dick while at LSU, and he's a dick now. This will never change. It's who he is. He doesn't care about any of his players. All he cares about is himself. If I had the option to take back saban and win a NC every year for the next 20 years, I'd say no. I don't want a man like that as the head of our program ever again.

I'm anything but a Saban fan but come on man... his players loved him. Dick that he was, the man could coach some football. Still can. His coaches on the other hand... not so much.

Saban was a prick at LSU, and he's the same at Bama. He'll screw over a recruit in a heartbeat (like he did this time) and is so arrogant that he won't even discuss the matter, mainly because he knows what he did was wrong.
I have no problem with most coaches, even the ones I don't especially like. But Saban is just a complete prick, through and through. Arrogant, dishonest, and manipulative only begin to describe him.

When did football become so pussified? I couldn't give a frick if the coach is nice. Football is about doing physical harm to these across from you. Look at the great coaches in the NFL or NCAA please name the nice guy great humans
