I think its the rights of all fans (whatever sports) to critique players and coaches. We can talk about JJ's poor play all day and its okay so as long as we leave the personal attack aside. That right there is why tigerdroppings is better than all the other messageboards. if you want to circle jerk visit the auburn/bama board.

people are piling on Les Miles for being such a freaking retard. I've heard numerous people say that they feel sorry for JJ that Les is putting him in this position.

the pile is on Miles, not Jefferson. yes, people may use the pathetic play of Jefferson to pile on Miles, but it's deserved. Miles refuses to play the guy who is playing the best now. And, he is making the situation 10x worse for JJ by doing so.

Miles isn't. The fans on here are.

Stop trying to pass the buck. We need to own up to what we are doing as posters. We are tearing down a young man because he isn't as successful as we'd like him to be.

Blaming Miles for the threads started on here just doesn't fly.

No. We are tearing down Miles for playing a young man who isn't as successful as the other young man that he's playing ahead of.

And, Miles is making the situation worse by playing favorites and not playing the best player at the QB position.

The "fans on here" have zero affect on Jefferson. Miles putting him in a position to fail while Lee is playing 10x better doesn't help though.

This thread is not about all of the negative things being said about Miles. It is about the negative things being said about JJ.

Read through some of the threads on here and maybe you'll start to understand what I am getting at.

I think Jefferson plays better on the road. I mean there has to be some hope, right?

Jordan Jefferson gained 4 yards playing over 50% of the snaps against McNeese St. I'd say he's earned some criticism.

But, if Miles were to play the QB who has performed the best over the course of this season, Jefferson would be on the bench not getting criticized. Miles is the only reason that people even have the opportunity to criticize Jefferson at this point.

My criticism is 100% against Miles. Why? Because he is the one that can control this situation. Play the best QB and the talk about JJ goes away.

I dont have a problem talking about JJ as a football player. this aint pee wee football. Why do we pay top dollars for coaches and facilities? Simple, we are in this game in this game to win.

I think so too. He doesn't have to worry about being booed at an opponent's stadium.

Yeah, it is funny. Miles definitely deserves credit for playing a ton of guys on defense and for the way they've been playing. Even if it is a result of Miles being completely hands off (which we have no idea), he should still get credit as head coach for the great defense we have.

But, it just increases my head scratching when I watch us play great players all around on defense and then our coaching staff will only give Lee 5-8 series a game on offense.

Don't lie. You don't pay for shite.

Plus, I was trying to appeal to some of you guy's humanity. he is a human being. In fact he is a young man, NOT a professional football player.
