Of course I’ve thought this before the game…Nuss has not been good all year. I think a mobile qb would have made a huge difference in our two losses
We would have gotten our asses kicked in TOP yesterday with Michael Vick back there. Just not sure which moment would have made a difference with a mobile QB.
What I’m telling you is don’t get your hopes up if we decide to make a QB change today. Yesterday exposed our decision making in a sobering way.
And for the record, I’ve been on the mobile QB train since I was a kid in the 90s. What you are saying has merit, but we have much bigger problems that became crystal clear yesterday. There is a lack of leadership on the staff, and we won’t win until something changes there.

Chambliss was outperforming Simmons in fall practices to the point Lane was commenting about him in press conferences.
MVB was struggling to hit WRs against no defense. Literally air.
MVB might have a little more mobility, but behind our OL, he doesn't stand a chance against good teams.

I firmly believe that MVB needs more playing time.
You will likely get your wish … if A&M doesn’t knock him out of the game, Bama probably will. Our OL is not good.

He at least can move a little bit as compared to Nuss.

MVB is not the runner that you think he is.
Nobody is expecting him to be JD5 2.0.
The thought is that he is capable of saving one of Sloan's awful play calls with his legs or maybe buying some time with his feet until a WR gets open. Which he is certainly capable of

MVB isn’t a runner. He can, but it’s not his thing.
That said he could probably move more than Nuss. But so do tectonic plates. Nuss looks like Mettenberger, but scared and with half the arm strength.

He’s really not a running QB of
You go back and look at last years play.
You are just saying this bc he is black, and you know nothing g w out him other than his one game this year.
Do better

I’m way past thinking there is anything to salvage from this season
