then give us the inside scoop? Burrow is a huge O guy and said O is what ultimately made his decision to attend LSU.

So you would trade LSU's last five years for Georgia's last five years?

Two bad years? It is going to take several more bad years to dig out of this hole where O has put the program. No coach, not even Saban, would be able to turn around, in just one year, the entitled culture in the locker room that O has created and allowed to fester.

Burrow knew he had a shot at starting at Lsu and a chance to be drafted from Sec.

Brady was a Steve E suggested hire not O.

Defense was Miles hire and already in place.

Respect to O for his tenure and short lived successful 2019 run, but he is mediocre and we are just now seeing it play out. Bad Coaching, Bad Hires = Bad times. When does the bleeding stop?

That’s not a very desirable trade off IMO. I’d much rather a team in contention every year than a lightening in a bottle year.

Sure, 2019 was otherworldly, but even it isn’t worth tanking for who knows how long. But 2 years seems a bit too optimistic if you ask me.

Wrong and wrong

Although Bill Busch put Burrow on O's radar, O went after Burrow extremely hard and Joe Burrow himself said it was O who convinced him to go to LSU. So as much as it's over for O now, I have to give him credit for getting Burrow to come to LSU.

I agree O needs to go but without him we don’t have a title in 2019. He is the reason we got Joe Burrow and Joe Brady.

Yes, you're right. Congrats and big thanks to O. Now let's fire him before the 3rd and then 4th bad years come and get a real college football coach.

It’s not an either-or. There are coaches who could probably have won a NC and not immediately run the program into the ground.

It will be several more, at least, than two years.

This is what the retards on the rant will never admit.

It is time for a change, but without O, 2019 doesn't happen. I don't even think that is debatable.

You sure about that

Yes

1980, do you think that means they can or never will win 1 ever again? WE are nearing the mid point of the season and they are the #1 team and look like clearly the best. Now there still a lot football to be played, they still have Florida and the SECCG probably against Bama, but for them to miss the playoff, they would have to lose 2 games, if you watched them play this year that would seem unlikely

The point that is escaping you and others with the lazy and stupid you either win it all or suck mentality is that they are in position to compete for it every year over the long run that gives you a better chance of winning than needed a transfer QB from Ohio with ZERO ties to your area that was not only special but could start right away and had 2 years of eligibility after being developed for 3 years but one of the best QB coaches of the last 20 years.

not at this second, but if UGA wins it this year (and they are now the frontrunner). Then it would be no contest.

only Alabama has had a better century, but that's irrelevant to this discussion since O was not the architect of those 20 years.

You shouldn't have to trade off anything. When have you seen a Championship team fall apart the very next year? I understand that the team lost a bunch of talent and coaches. But the drop-off was insane. Obviously you can't compare a team to Bama. But look at the others that won Championships. They didn't implode the next year.

To that point, this trajectory shite talk needs to stop! It’s TV conjecture and the football field is not a graph in a fricking board room! This team looked like shite last night true. But this isn’t the time to shite on them back and fire a coach mid season because you personally don’t like him! This is college football at a high level and 99% of the folks on this Rant never played a down of it and never coached a play in SEC or anywhere else in Power 5! So you don’t know what it takes to build and maintain championship level football! So while it’s fun and easy to bash the coach and trash the players, what we really need to do here is show support for this team and deal with Oeaux and staff separately in the off season! Chaos does not align with success the way you think! Support this team and leave it at that! A true fan would do that no matter who the fricking coach is! Through the good and bad games! Geaux Tigers forever!! Not just when it feels good!!

then I bet you loved Miles for a while. Two loss less was exactly what you described.

I'm taking O and the Natty every single time.
