LSU needs to focus on an up and coming coach who likes the idea of making LSU basketball relevant again but still knowing it will never be on par with football. The Shaka Smarts and Brad Stephens of the world are waiting for traditional ACC or Big East jobs to open up.

I'm with you. I was not a very popular bartender 4 years ago in Richmond with my opinions. I like VCU and wish them well, but I want Shaka. I would hop on a plane in the morning and be on VCU's campus by 1pm to recruit him if it would help. I can tell him first hand the advantages LA has over Richmond and central VA

I told my friends I would run around naked in the streets if the 5 OR so things that needed to happen in 07 for LSU to make the BCS national championship. Fortunately I wasnt forced to go through with it.

Any interest in Quinn snyder? I know he is currently with the lakers which could create logistical issues, and the end at Missouri was pretty bad, but he did have a few decent runs.
