And you think Brian Thomas Jr. sucks so your opinion is invalid.

You can make arguments on both sides.

Trevor Lawrence had 562 yards rushing in 2019, and he was Clemson's second leading rusher in 2020. That's a DT QB.

247 Sports listed Lawrence listed as Pro Style QB.

I didn't want to hear the whining so I threw them a bone.

You are correct, you didn't say he sucks. You said JD made him a 1st RD pick and he was just another DJ Chark.

Lester doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Again just because a QB runs more in college doesn’t make him a running QB. Tim Tebow set SEC passing records at Florida, is he a pocket passer? Of course not.

You are closer than Madking but still not what I said. I didn’t say he was another DJ Chark. I said he would have been drafted where Chark was had he not had great QB play

No. It does not work like that.

A DT who can throw very well is still a DT. Daniels is a DT. He set the record for QB Rating but he is still a DT.

Tebow is a DT. It does not matter how well he threw, the question is whether he could run. Tebow could run his arse off.

Lawrence was a dual threat in college. He had 562 yards rushing in 2019. That's more yards than Milroe had at Bama last year. That's a DT QB.

Lester knows what he is talking about.

Tebow isn’t a DT because he can’t throw

On throws 20+ Yards

2017 Danny Etling
25-55att 951yds 6td 1 INT 45%

2023 Jayden Daniels
35-55att 1,347yds 22td 0 INT 63%

2024 Garrett Nussmeier
13-28att 403yrds 3td 1INT 46%

It's not hard to conclude which QB is most conducive to a deep ball WR's success

I'll repeat this statement because it's worth repeating apparently.

This is NOT an NFL message board. It's an LSU message board. LSU plays college football.

Tebow was absolutely a DT QB at Florida.

Anyone who doesn't think that Tebow was a DT QB at Florida is a fricking moron.

You're a fricking morn.

QED.

Thanks for proving my point that you have no idea what you’re talking about. His supporting cast advantage doesn’t change what he is it only masked his deficiencies.

you just said Tebow wasn’t a dual threat because he couldn’t throw.

In college he absolutely could that’s fricking retarded.

Doubling down on being a moron is not a good look.

Many QBs play football in high school. They have varying degrees of skill at running and passing:

1. Those who are believed to be able to throw at the college level and can run well are deemed to be Dual Threat.

2. Those who are believed to be able to throw at the college level but cannot run well are deemed to be Pro Style.

3. Those who are believed to be able to throw at the college level but cannot throw well, do not stay at QB in college.

4. Those who are not believed to be able to throw at the college level do not get recruited to play QB in college unless they attend a triple-option school.

Tebow was absolutely a dual threat QB in college. He was A.1.

Tebow showed that he could not throw at well in the NFL. He was B.3.

It’s like teaching Chinese algebra to my Doberman. You’re so ignorant I’d have to waste a ton of time just explaining how dumb your argument is then how football works and I would but you’d just reject it which is why you’re so ignorant.

When you buy into this ever shifting definition of what DT means you can argue anything you want. It’s dumb

He just set the NFL record for first QB in 5 games with 1000 yds passing and 250+ yards rushing. Never been done before.
