Wow. I still dont understand why this would need to happen?? Why wouldnt she want you to enjoy something like a football game just because she couldnt watch it live?? I would be all for it (I guess), if there was some relevance to it.... Help me out...

I never said she wanted me not to watch it live. I just know we'd enjoy watching it together more.

Odds are your wife works with someone who will be getting score updates and yelling them to the crew. Unless you're in a coma, avoiding the score will be impossible.

I gotcha now.... hey, if it works for you. I just couldnt see it worth the sacrifice. But, while my wife enjoys watching LSU, its just not that big of a deal for her.... in fact she works the night of the game.... I aint missing shite!! We are grilling steaks and drinking lots of beer!!

Yes she will. If LSU wins it would be nearly impossible to watch again and not comment or at least give some indication prior to a good or bad play. God forbid the division runners up win, I don't know how one could stomach it.
If you live an any kind of neighborhood in LA you will probably know the outcome as well via fireworks or yelling or gunfire anyway.

Did she ask you to do this or was this something you came up with on your own? If you came up with it on your own...why!? It will gain you major bonus points for however long she wishes to recognize them. That's a week or two tops. Face it, this isn't a get out of jail free card forever...it's a one time thing.
