With both Friday and Saturday games scheduled for 11am, I think there is a great possibility that they will start on time. Afternoon storms are scheduled to fire up sometime in the afternoon, more likely, after 1pm. I do not see a scenario where we have all day rain to the point of a complete washout. There will be rainy periods with daytime heating and ample surface moisture, but I think the lift needed for storms will occur after 1pm. After that, all bets are off.
If a delay does occur, it will likely happen during the middle or late innings of a Friday or Saturday game. I think both games have a good shot of going the distance although forecasting where the scattered storms will pop off, is not an exact science.

And I know the entire weekend won't get rained out and the games will be played. But what actually does happen if weather causes the series not to be completed by Tuesday? Higher seed advances?

What we do not want to happen is for a game to start, our starter pitches 3 innings, and then rain comes for a significant delay. That pitcher is then gone for the day.

Good question.
My meticulously-prepared out-of-town preparations are predicated on the frickin' games being played at 11:00 on Friday and 11:00 on Saturday. If any significant delay, I am screwed.
Please, God, hold off the rain at least until after the games.
