Actually, A&M and Kentucky have a worse FPct in conference games and Auburn is essentially the same with one more error. LSU is 3rd in the SEC in ERA so the lack of clear starters doesn’t seem to be an issue. As to winning 2/3 against Bama, no one has swept them at Bama and A&M lost 2 of 3. Tennessee didn’t even sweep them at home. Your idea of what a “good” team should do against Bama doesn’t seem to match with reality.
