Miles brought up on his show that JJ was the sole QB when the Tigers beat Auburn 31-10 last year. It seems like he has to convince himself that playing Jefferson is the right thing to do!!!

If JJ goes 3 and out, Miles will be the definition of stubborn if Jefferson leads the second drive as well.....I guess we have to hope for the best.

Miles is CRAZY. I predict we are down 17-0 in the second quarter before J Lee sees the field.

Nightmare scenario: Peterson returns the opening kickoff to about midfield, Jefferson starts, we manage a field goal to go up 3-0. That will mean that Miles thinks Jefferson can get it done.

Miles wants to run the football more than anything (35-0 with a 100 yard rusher) and probably feels like JJ gives them the best chance to run the football successfully. I still don't get why he thinks that having JJ in there will make LSU more of a run threat.

I have a feeling that Saturday will resemble '06 quite a bit...lots of 3rd and 3's and we'll run sweeps and options. If Les has learned anything, he oughtta know that taking chances in the air will beat Auburn ala Lee in '08. We'll see which Miles - '06 or '08 - shows up to coach. Arkansas destroyed Auburn through the air. We'd be fools not to let 'er rip.

TAF needs to take that supposed "buy out" cash that some of the tards on here were talking about and give it to JJ in exchange for whatever compromising photos he has of Les.

Every week, I say I'm not going to pay attention; I'm just going to roll with it. Every week, I still allow myself to be amazed at the continued perception by CLM that using JJ in any capacity is "working".

I'm taking a BC powder and going to bed.

I say everyone should STFU and watch the game. JJ may come out slinging and score tons of points or Lee may have a shite game. Nobody knows, watch the game and comment on it after ffs

Miles keeps saying that JJ's skill set (being able to run a little) is extremely valuable. McNeese State didn't seem to think so. How do we not go with Lee given how much better he's playing than JJ against a team that can't stop the pass? It simply doesn't make sense.

JJ did have -24 yards rushing with a long of 1 against mcneese though, so I mean thats solid right?

I wish someone could tell me what exactly Jefferson's strengths are because I have to to witness them. Some say he is great because he can get us yardage on the ground but take away the one good run and I do not think he has gained enough rushing yards for it to matter. He cannot throw and he is not a leader so I dont get the excuse that he has strengths we need to be catering to...
