Day 2 of draft probably best case scenario.

I see him as early second round, but anything could happen.

I think what is bigger is that Guice has dropped out of the 1st round

Just in case some of you were unsure about the DBU distinction, LSU fans are arguing about which LSU players are worthy of a 1st round pick versus a second round pick.

There's a group of ignorant fans on here that have been saying for 2 years Jackson wasnt even a good corner much less a superb corner. They have no idea about the sport but once they make up their minds they dig in. Occasionally, you'll find a ranter that will admit he was clueless, but more times than not they will dig up a play here or there or even an anomaly like the Fla game last year and stick their chest out and claim they know best.

Okay ms Jackson...wanna make a ban bet that he doesn't go first round? I've been doing this a lot longer than you. He does not have great cover skills, had bad hands, and is out of position trailing a play a lot. He is a project, but probably worth a second round flyer. Speed makes up for a lot, but not everything

You want the saints to draft him first round? Be honest. This isn't hating on him but he has several areas to improve in. He isn't even in the same zip code as white was in regards to cover skills

Didn't he have one of the highest DB ratings in the SEC?

Some of the guys on here are too stupid to even think about that. Donte was a solid corner in 2016, and he took it up a couple of notches this year. He has been one of the best corners in college football.

Donte has two negatives. He is skinny, and he doesn't get a lot of interceptions. Other than that, he is as good a corner as I have seen play college football.

I think a team would be reaching if they drafted him among the top 25 players. He should go in the second round. He is a steal in round three.

He may turn out to be quite a surprise, but I always saw him as smaller than Tyran and less physical. It seemed like he got beat on passes a lot and any time the RB bounced it outside you had to hold your breath on the tackle.

And his film will show hands of stone, and the propensity to be out of position/trailing the play.

He has good film playing the slot. And his film playing outside isn’t bad. He gets his hands on a lot of balls. Not many INTs, you’re right. And he is poor in the run game. But you can’t teach speed

He was poorly coached in HS & alternated positions. Nfl teams will love his body canvas

I'm not pulling against him. I'm just saying he did much better in nickel, than as a true corner, he isn't the most physical, and is not a play maker. A lockdown corner he is not, at least so far. Also, he won't be a punt/kickoff returner...too much risk.

IF he measures 5’10”+ 180+ and can run sub 4.40 he’s gonna go in the first. I don’t see why he can’t hit those marks. He has long arms, too, at least from my perspective

I don’t love him, he was our 3rd best CB this year, but Nfl teams will love him

So you are saying NFL teams are dumber than you?

Again, I damn sure wouldn't want the saints to draft him first round. He will get abused in NFL.

Im saying Nfl teams will be confident his best days are ahead of him. He’s somewhat of a project but he has tools you can’t teach. It’s not that hard to understand
