According to the NFL network all preseason games will be replayed at some point this week. Check their schedule.

I can't help that it still makes me angry that he didn't even get a snap in the natty title. I try to be a "loyal" fan like some say but no matter how you slice it our boy Les f*cked us.

Yeah, but what does he know? What are his credentials to be commenting on JL's great play? After all, Roooooooooad and the rest of TeamSwag posting in this thread know more than some future Hall of Fame football coach. JJ is relevant to this thread because our HC quit on us at the end of the season and left his adoptive son to sink our dream season. All the signs were there in the ArKansas and UGA games (and through most of his career starts), but Les was determined not to give JL or Mett any snaps during the biggest game of his coaching career. Shame on him, and for JL.

But that means you have to TP his house after you see Mett play this year.

LOL! You giving Miles credit for discovering Mett? We blew team after team away last year with sub par QB play and Mett hardly sniffed the field!

J. Lee looks like a straight boss in that Chargers uniform.

Careful, being critical of Les Miles even just barely, will bring out the Miles groupies and they will ask you to explain every word in every one of your posts.

So if you are going to do it, do it big.

Only 19 pages? Rant I am disappoint... I don't think it's a great stretch to say the AL D we saw in the BCS, coached by Nick Saban, is maybe just a hair better then SD 3rd string defense.

Of which maybe 5 of those guys make the active roster... but I digress. JL looked good and put up some great numbers, good for him! Geaux Tigers!

Fixed it.

Also, for those saying 3rd string defense, defensive players that will be cut, etc. Lee quarterbacked from the end of the first quarter through the rest of the game. His first quarter of action was against 2nd teamers at the least. Even with that, I do realize that Lee will probably never be an NFL starter. Right now, his goal has to be to make the NFL team, hopefully as the #3 quarterback, but if not that, then at least as a practice squad player. He took a huge step towards that last night. Good for him!!

I love Les as a coach and don't want a change...but his favortism did frick us over in that game. The JJ supporters like to say after their boy was proven to be awful that "they both sucked, time to move on". That wasn't exactly the case....JL led the SEC in passer ratings...and while have 2 picks against bama true, he only played 11 plays...and managed to lead the team to 3 first downs. What is frustrating is that while lee may not be great, he is good enough to be in the mix for a roster spot on an nfl team, and yet couldn't get a meaningful snap down the stretch behind arguably the worst starting qb in LSU history....and even in the NC game...when it was obvious JJ could do absolutely nothing...he did not give him a chance and then came back with some bs excuse that he didn't think it would have been fair to JL.......Like I said, I don't want another coach, but hopefully miles learned from this.

Yea, too bad Miles did not see fit to play this guy in the Alabama championship game. Guess he just was not as good as JJ !!! Good ole Les.

even if lee played in the ncg, we still would have lost...it was more than the quarterback controversy that lost us that game

Probably, but they weren't used to playing with each other as a team while Alabama had quite the cohesive defensive unit on 1/9.

everyone but 1 player on bama's defense last year will play in the nfl so there is not much difference between a 3rd string d and bama's starting d

I like JL, I think Les made a foolish decision to not play him 1/9 or to give JJ the plays he did leading up..He should have been used as he was in the first Bama game exclusively.

However, does any of this shite get old to yall? Ever?

This is another line of thought I just don't get. Prepare for a lifetime of success with that attitude. May as well not try, huh?
