Meh.

Lee - 11-22 (50%) for 182 yards. C. Scott had 132 yards rushing.

JJ - 18-27 (67%) for 212 yards. C. Scott had less than 100 yards rushing.

b/c of one rhetorical question?

I think its more because people actually think they can change some of yalls mind on the matter. Little do they know, they're dealing with people that still cannot grasp the difference between individual stats and team stats.

Carry on...

JL didnt even start vs au and most of those yards were accumulated in the second half.

Way to tell the whole story.

Watched LSU vs. Alabama 2008 last night, and JL threw 4 interceptions in that game, 2 of them pick sixes. Otherwise, we would have won that game relatively easy.

I think that's splitting hairs. For sure, people remember Lee more for the Auburn win because it's his signature win. JJ has QB'd wins against Auburn, Georgia, Arkansas and Georgia Tech.

I feel that both were just about equally hostile. Auburn might have been more in the beginning of the game because they went up by more than 10 on us after Lee threw the pick 6 in the 2nd quarter. Lee was big in the win, but Scott ran like an animal in that game. He averaged over 6 yds./carry. Lee had big TD passes though and those definitely stick out in people's minds so I can see that...

I can vaguely remember the Alabama game in '07, with Flynn throwing early interceptions to put the Tigers in bad spots. The Team overcame those and won the game. There are those who still bash Matt Flynn too, but I am not one of those. Just making a point that Jarrett Lee is not the first and will not be the last qb to throw interceptions in crucial SEC games.

I guess you mean the Georgia deck... In general, I agree with you that Auburn is usually louder than Georgia (and a little louder at night). But Georgia really gets fired up for LSU.

But that 2nd half in Georgia was seriously hostile. They took the lead, lost it, took it again and lost it again. And there were those penalties too that made the place go even crazier.

I was only referring to Georgia being hostile like Auburn. There was a quote comparing the two. I was just listing those other teams referring to big wins that JJ has had.

Yeah, it's obvious that you were just comparing Auburn 2008 with Georgia 2009.

I can buy that JL was more important to AU win than JJ was to Georgia game.

However, because of our awful running game in 2009, JJ had to win every game in 2009. JL's job in 2008 was to not lose games, and he didn't do very well at his job.

It isn't just a horse, it's a motherfricking stallion. Did you see were I pointed out that we ran for 201 yards against Alabama, Florida, and Ole Miss COMBINED last year?

To quote the immortal Al Davis "Just win baby!"
I give a shite less who starts, finishes, runs to the locker room in the middle of the quarter to take a piss. All I want are the W's!

AMEN BABY!! Jefferson or Lee, whatever it takes to win
