Manwich,
I'm ominscient enough to know that you're a dumbass if you think the jetlag on the 2500 mile trip to Washington (and the game ending at approximately 1am CST) was not a factor that favored UW.

LSU 2007 Recruiting Class 2006 Recruiting Class
2005 Recruiting Class
So as you can see, alot of our 5 and 4 star athletes never lived up to their status or had other problems...so saying a "High" ranked recruiting class that doesn't "perform" to your standards and blaming it solely on coaching...a little naive don't you think?
And your argument this is true for all teams...so every team gets rid of their 5* quaterback...every team has had the exact number of athletes not live up to potential? Bogus argument man.

how are these in any way relevant?
Not relevant, just listed all the games I recall in recent years where an SEC team traveled out west for a game.

I THINK FOR THE MOST PART LSU RECRUITS WELL.JUST MAYBE OLD SCHOOL BIG 10.CORNERS LOOK HUGE MAYBE THATS WHY THEY ALWAYS LINE UP AT LEAST 10 YARDS OFF THE BALL.

Another SEC west coast game. 2000, BAMA played at UCLA, next week beat Vandy.

I remember how bad jet-lag affected USC when they were dropping 70 on Arky or Auburn. Or the way it affected Oregon State when they came here and barely lost to the defending nat'l champs b/c of a missed extra point. Remember that time we jet-lagged Arizona to the tune of 59-13?
It's a freaking three hour difference. I am so tired of excuses.

Well if that's the case the won the following week so we should win against Vandy;
2 big differences though
1. We aren't Tenn
2. We aren't playing UF the following week, we're playin ULL

exactly
i took a 13 hour flight last year. that's jet lag. if you can't get through a lord of the rings movie in the time it takes to get there, it doesn't qualify as jet lag. let's try to remember that these aren't blue hairs here

for the last friggin time its not the same coming the other direction....for usc playing a game that starts at 7 at arky or auburn is playing a game that starts at 4 by the players internal clock but for LSU playing a game that starts at 7 in washington is the equivilent to 10 by their internal clock. For the players the second half was played after 11 and the game ended after midnight. Try playing a D-1 football game after around 11 oclock and see if you play at your peak performance

jet lag is an excuse, there are no excuses, do you have bus lag after a 6 hour bus ride, no!
I went to Seattle and returned, still waiting on jet lag, these players like other college kids stay up late and play hard all the time, let's not make excuses before we play the game, all we want to hear is...TIGERS WIN...TIGERS WIN

i hope i never have to cheer for a football team that has become so pussified that a short plane ride can completely destroy their ability to play the game
