Criticizing a player like some of you do is simply shameful.
We need to keep both QBs from feeling too much pressure or getting down on themselves at this critical point of this special season.
One gets hurt - the other is all we have.
Miles knows what he is doing.
Besides that what he says to the press means nothing. He is not gonna come out and say "JJ is a POS, and Lee is now the man," like some of you apparently want to hear. Even if he thinks that, he has to protect the kids and all our gameplan options.
So please try thinking like an adult for once, about what you are whining and complaining about, and ....
Please STFU!
We are 7-0 and getting ready for our biggest game in 3 years. Can't you crybaby arseholes find something positive to say?
It is getting harder and harder for a true die-hard Tiger fan to get fired up about a great season by visiting this board, and that is a damn shame.

Compare his statements to Lee's 2 years ago when he went through his struggles. I just don't think you endure yourself to your teammates when you dodge blame, it also doesn't help when you bitch them out for not catching your wild throws. JJ is a poor leader and that's just a fact.

Why do people KEEP saying this???
How many backup QBs are redshirt freshmen in the nation?
Or all of those teams splitting time with there 2 QBs?

jefferson does not have to play in every game to be ready if lee goes down. the freshman from arkansas does not share snaps with mallet. he went in off the bench and torched auburn.

I'm beginning to wonder if some of you people are hoping for bad things to happen when Jefferson is on the field. Personally, I'd prefer to see Lee but I will pull for Jefferson to play lights out when he's in.

not to mention we have two other QB's and another guy that should be taking a few snaps at QB anyway....ala shep...
the guys are wrong thinking that we "NEED" JJ if Lee goes down....no you dont...put another guy in...you dont pander to a selfish child just because you may "need" him...thats bullshite...and its a slap in the Face to TC and Bailey...I dont care if they havent seen the field they show up to practice just like the other two do...shite, I bet money both of those guys could move the offense better then pouty face could...

So, he told you he was losing his starting job? Would that be this week?

Everyone bitching about others bitching about JJ need to realize that it is 100% JJ's fault he is perceived like he is right now. He would be getting a lot more slack from the fans if he was saying that he's not playing well and needs to up his game. He would still need to be benched and rightly so, but you wouldn't have fans calling him a spoiled brat or "pouty face", at least as many as now.
I was an avid JJ supporter before the season, and I thought he showed a lot of promise in the UNC game. His play has only regressed since that time, and his attitude seems to be getting worse. The best thing for him, in my opinion, would be to ride the bench for a while and reflect on how he came to be in the position he is in. He's shown that he has the ability. He lead the team to a stomping of Auburn last year and had us up on Alabama until he got hurt. He needs some time to get his head on straight, and perhaps not having to stress out about starting the entire game or if he'll be going in this series or the next would be just the medicine he needs.

It's not a question of personalities or white or black but rather which quaterback is in a better position to put points on the board. They cannot be equal and therefore one has to be better than the other. If you are trying to win games you must play the best player. Now I am not as astute as some of you former LSU all americans, NFL pro bowlers and Hall of Fame coaches, but it would seem to me that someone who has started 11 drives that resulted in 8 touchdowns just may be a tad better than someone who started 12 drives that resulted in 3 field goals. There may be circumstances that make one result look a little better but common sense would seem to say that the one who put 56 points on the board in 11 drives is doing a little better than the one who put 9 points in 12. Just sayin!

It's sad really.
JJ doesn't have the maturity or skillset to be a QB at a program like LSU.
What's even worse is we have a blithering idiot of a head coach who continues to trot the kid right into the jaws of failure every week.
If we lose because of JJ's horrendous play at AU, I place the blame squarely on Miles.

I'm pretty sure 99.9% of the people bitching would be happy if Jefferson lit it up the rest of the season. IF

No one wants to see JJ play terribly. It's the simple fact of the matter that he is playing terribly and JL has more success than JJ. Evidence is rock solid right in front of your faces for the past several Saturdays.

JJ should be an extra in a "three stooges" movie.
He would say the exact quote provided above, and 3 randomly selected TD posters would bounce him around the set, using planks of wood and cream pies.
