And it doesnt really make any sense in this context:

quote:

Johnathon Giles can strive under Brady

He can try hard/make an effort under Brady?

he's too slow. hate to say it.
someones got too... its true..

Chase and Marshall will be beast this year though.
agree...

quote:

Jefferson will be mr Reliable again

certainly possbile, could actually see his role diminish a bit, Not because of anything he does though..

I think you throw Dee Anderson in there as well.. that guy is just athletic as hell...

Sullivan and Pettigrew should breakout as well... so id say those 5..

Chase (Easy call) Marshall, Dee Anderson, Sullivan and Pettigrew... matchup problems everywhere with those 5... would be a nightmare for any defensive backfield..

I, too, can strive under Brady. As can my 3 year old.

My mom just had knee replacement surgery. She, too, can strive under Brady.

I see a squirrel on a tree outside my window. He, too, can strive under Brady.

Thanks for clearing that up

Giles can try or make an effort of some sort under Brady is what you’re saying. Cool

Giles will not see the field this year i expect him to transfer for his last year of eligibility to a small school where he knows he will get the ball. The WR ahead of him are much better players. Next year will be heavy on Chase, Jefferson and Marshall with some Dillon plays mixed in to use his speed and red zone plays for Dee Anderson. It looks like they have moved Sullivan to TE.

His yards after catch won’t get him very far. Still hope he helps the team win.

They tried running him on too many deep routes like a speed burner last year

They also tried many slants and screens to him that went no where. He looked slow on those plays.

The Bradminger offense will be lit, the best thing since Mallvetto.

I wouldn’t go that far but if he can quit dropping the ball I think he might be good for 20 catches

i think Giles can finally become the threat we thought he would be.

I can't agree with you more. He was mishandled, if not outright abused in 2018. He can be an integral part of a more bold, inspired LSU offense this year.

How exactly was he mishandled? We threw him countless bubble/slip screens, which he either dropped, or was unable to make a defender miss and was tackled for a loss or a short gain. We also threw him a bunch of slants, which he would usually catch and fall down.

He was solid as a returner early in the year, but as the season progressed, he fair caught nearly everything, even if he had more than enough space for a return. And most of the ones he didn't fair catch, he had problems getting past the gunners. Maybe, as someone else said, he was hampered by a nagging injury, but I really don't know how you can claim he was mishandled. If anything, the coaches tried to work him into the gameplan much more than they should have.

Small and slow are not a good combination as a WR.

He’s got 7 wr on the depth chart that are flat out more gifted. I’m not convinced but we will see

Maybe but he looks slow on the field and does not seem to be that elusive.
