I’d be interested to get Kardell Thomas playing his arse off to win a starting position on this offensive line line first, before asking permission to use his image, name or likeness for anything. He needs to build up some equity on the team and increase his value as a player first, hopefully a starter. Otherwise, he’s putting the cart in front of the horse.

Instead of self reflection and individual accountability as a means of improvement, Mr. Thomas chooses this path.

Not sure what “brand” would seek him out to collaborate as a brand attachable to his style of football has yet to surface on the field.

The quality of College football is going to truly suck but Kardell is proving that the Comedic Level of sports is going to go through the roof.

I’m very curious to see what happens here. So many kids out of highschool think they are going to be worth millions with these new NIL rules. I just don’t see it.

Greed has always been central to college football. For one reason or another everyone seems to want to draw the line at players being able to make money, but not under the table. Weird.

Personally, I’ve never been a fan of the entitled attitude of many college football players nor the illicit payments they receive.

I’m one of those crazy people who believe that a full ride scholarship to a major university is more than fair compensation for what they do. The opportunity to earn any degree you’d like for free is a pretty good deal.

But I know for many of our youth and even older members of society, being able to wear a Mr. T starter kit set of jewelry and driving an expensive car are seen as more important achievements than graduating from a university.

Don’t flatter yourself with your simplistic view. We all get it. Players already get paid. Everyone knows it.

I spoke clearly to that point in my post. If you’re not sophisticated enough to follow what I’m saying, then I suggest you go back and read what I wrote one more time. Maybe it’ll sink in at that point.

Spot on. This kid needs to worry about busting his arse and earning some playing time then the rest will take care of itself.

NIL, just another way to distract delusional players.

Be great and NIL MAY help you out, but be great enough to make the league and you're all set.

Hard work and talent always makes the difference!!!

Is this some kind of joke? I remember him when being recruited he was going be outstanding, that was like 2-3 yrs ago I don’t think he has seen the field, what is the issue with him?
