and that line of thinking almost kept us out of the BCS in 2006
i thought that UTenn game was the turnaround game for Les in this regard (more than just KW...growing balls with using JR also)

anybody know much about USM? my boy barry bowden is a very good pitcher, but i doubt they pitch him against us.

Montrell Conner to State my brother just called and told me about an hour ago. he said he saw him at speed camp in monroe all decked out in his state gear, oh well

well after looking at lsusports.net at the roster you cant use the weights listed they were updated a year ago, it says ridley weighs 209, and trust me hes all of 235 now.
So, you are "in the know", live 2 houses down from Flynn, your boy pitches for USM, your brother camps with Montrell Connor, and you know Stevan Ridley personally? DAMN!

some coaches have morals..i admire that
you certainly wouldnt want someone that doesnt work as hard as you getting a promotion ahead of you, would you?

i still believe KW can be our best back even without knowing all his assignments or executing them perfectly.
So you forgive Booty for throwing the interception in the UAB game?
Since Peterson appears to be the most gifted athlete of our dbs we sholdn't worry if he doesn't know his assignments?
You don't stay in the NFL very long if you continuously run to the wrong hole. Why should it be tolerated in college, unless you have no OL and the back is a Gayle Sayers or Barry Sanders. KW is neither.

in my line of work the people who make the firm money get promoted and make partner before the hard workers. there are plenty of slapdicks who generate business who get promoted exponentially faster than the guys who do all the legwork

how does that apply to my statement? booty wasn't better than rohan

if he can go out an play CB at a higher overall level than our other CBs without knowing his assignments? yes

you do if you produce. see: barry sanders

btw, where's the link that says KW doesn't know his assignments? I must have missed the part where he was dumber than Hester. Or, is it another case of the white guy must be smarter than the black guy?

would you want someone who is half as competant at your job promoted over you because he works hard?

playing someone that does everything right and works hard in practice over someone that doesnt know what he is doing is the right thing to do
it would be sending the wrong message other wise.

you know what the hell i meant
someone in the same position as you get a promotion ahead of you, yet you work harder...you think thats right? And dont twist it with your bullshite. Give me an honest answer

no
but this obivously isnt the case when you are talking about 2 very talented backs in Charles Scott and Keiland Williams.
or Hester and Scott/Williams.
its not like Joey Stutson is using his Army work ethic to pass up these guys on the depth chart.

can we off this thread or something

to me that's life
should my grades be penalized b/c i didn't work in college and made As while there are plenty of people who busted arse to get Bs?
why aren't recruiting a team of 1-AA talent who will outwork 2/3 of our current roster?

i think it would tell the guys who are behind him to start working harder

that seriously happens all the time
without pulling strings, people get promoted because they generate business for firms.

if i had a company i'd promote the guy who was best for my company, which would almost assuredly be the guy who made my company the most money
