Every time I look at LSUs RBs im amazed at the depth. 5-6 guys deep that have legitimate talent.
And every week there will be a near meltdown over how each one is being used.
Been the same way for the last few years.

Ordinarily I would say red shirt, but Ware will be here 3 more years and the same with others, so just throw them all in and let the best 3 get the ball.

Moffit muscle. It's better than mere human muscle.

No because he is their all spring he will be ready for the fall. He will be a key in short yardage situations.

He is here early and will contribute.
Over who?
I think he will be used on special teams and will be a short yardage back. We really don't have a fullback that is a true fullback, right? So he could fill that need. I mostly see him cracking skulls on kickoff coverage though.

Unless you are talking about running the wishbone, why not redshirt him?
2011:
Ford/Ware
Blue
Gore
2012:
Ford/Ware
Blue
Hilliard
Gore
McGee
2013:
Ford/Ware
Blue
Hilliard
Gore
McGee
2014:
Hilliard

2015:

McGee

How many RBs did we see in 2010?
1) Ridley
2) Blue
3) Ford
4) Ware
5) Murphy
I think Miles will find him a package....most likely the short yardage package. Also, does anyone else really think Gore is going to get more carries than Hillard? Not gonna happen.

Dead serious. His upper body is too thin. Have you ever seen him in person ? I'm not saying he needs to gain 20 lbs but dropping some bodyfat and replacing it with 20 lbs of mature muscle would make a huge difference in his ability at the D1 level.

I think Miles is looking for his next Hester. Miles loves those 225-235lb RBs that can pound the ball. Ware and Hilliard are beasts. Ford has been in Miles's dog house so you never know about him.

Ware is already that back.
From LSUsports.net
quote:
Alfred Blue RB 6-2 207
Spencer Ware RB 5-11 225
Kenny Hilliard RB 5-11 225
Michael Ford RB 5-10 202
Ridley had to wait while Charles Scott carried the ball and Scott had to wait while Hester carried the ball. I'm just looking at that trend continuing with Hillard redshirting while Ware and Ford carry the load with Gore and RS being the change of pace scat backs.
Of course all this is IMO, so you never know.

I would bet we are going to see a lot of ford and jj running the option this year.

Why's it got to be over anybody? Five RBs contributed last year and we were pretty much injury free. No big stretch to think we'll use 4-5 more again this year.

I hope to see Hilliard and Magee both redshirt.

Can you imagine watching a bigger version of Dalton
Are you serious?Did you watch him at all since his 9th grade year?
Gee Whiz, lay off the pipe dude. If and if Fournette plays in the purple and gold I serious doubt that he would beat out Hillard and McGee at that point.

JMO, but I think Terrance Magee will jump him if he doesn't go MLB.
