Curious to know how A&M is making 6 mil in revenue.

The Aggies turned a $1.6 million profit last year, but that was an anomaly, said Jeff Toole, Texas A&M’s chief financial officer for athletics. Included in A&M’s 2015-16 SEC-leading baseball revenue ($6.01 million) is millions in donations to the school for a stadium renovation project.
“Ordinarily it would not show (those numbers),” Toole said. “I would be surprised if LSU is not the most profitable baseball program.”

I wonder how much Blue Bell pays to be the title sponsor of the park.
By the way, the ads behind home plate are not as expensive as you think.

Brings up a good point. Would you rather: The current ad situation -or- the South Carolina look (still ads, but much fewer) in the Gordon McKernan Alex Box Stadium with Skip Bertman field brought to you by Cox Communications in partnership with Oschner.

if you think the players care if Tony's chacheres is on the out field fence the you're delusional.
Tony Chacheres is behind home plate, not on the outfield fence

LSU's baseball stadium looks super cheap with all the outfield ads, IMO. It really looks like shite

does not have all the high school ads like some stadiums classy and clean hint hint
nor does it have the amenities that LSU is able to provide because of the revenue from those "high school ads"

That and they had better attendance in 2018 than the Marlins.

Bingo. To a certain extent, the advertisements create a major league type atmosphere. If you look at most major league fields, they almost all have advertisements everywhere you look.

Upvoted for this vivid and accurate description of Alex Box.

Does the Advocate have a sponsorship on the tarp? If not, that's criminal. My favorite ad placement in MLB stadiums is the local paper making the tarp look like the daily thrown in the yard.
Better tarp than the local paper:

A permanent Batter's Eye would be a minor expense. I have no idea why this has yet to be done.
