Just because he sped off doesn't mean a high speed chase like, as Jacques said, a bank robbery.
JD also said with the other things going on he might have been scared. I hope this police intervention wannabe didn't push him to unalive (sic) himself but it might have.

Not true. Harris Co says the dispatched call was not mental health. Probably got more info when they arrived.

They weren't chasing him but BOLO. Saw him and tried to pull him over.
BOLO issues and a chase ensued once they located his vehicle. SMH

You have gone full dumbass. Anyone who discharges a firearm and has the police called on them will have the police attempt to detain them.
Look, a lot of people probably went after Lacy too hard based on the info we had at the time, but trying to completely absolve him of everything based on the same info is just as bad.
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

You poor thang. You choose not to see the details when they are presented and would rather stay emotionally attached choosing to believe some sympathetic spin of people close that are tip toeing around it.
Are you really blaming LEO that he shot himself? “Wannabe”?? I already knew but now I really know. I hope you get through this.

JDoucet said "I think it was a wellness call" and others have posted that it was a mental crisis issue.
You just like to argue for the sake of arguing.

Did you listen to Jacques? I repeated everything he said. Lisen until the end and put your hearing aids in this time.
He spoke with KL's family. I would think they would know what happened.

From Harris Co PR: At around 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Harris County Pct. 4 deputies responded to a call reporting a disturbance involving a weapon.

I’m not arguing. I’m proving you wrong again as you continue to try and spin a narrative. I’m trying to show you the what the actual reported events by the people that were chasing him and which all can be supported by call logs, first hand knowledge and video evidence. You keep trying to regurgitate FB posts, what you’ve read from other posts, people that you talked to and a podcast were Jacque clearly says he doesn’t know but the family is telling him. You’re too far gone though!! Good luck to you. Quit blaming others!

They would know better than the people that were chasing him??? One factual thing that you’ve said, mental health is an issue that a lot people go through. I hope you get better.

You're blaming the cops for a "wannabe intervention" when someone put out a wellness check, BOLO, whatever you want to call it for someone who said they wanted to kill themselves, fired a gun, and then didn't pull over when the police tried to pull him over to check on him.

It was a disturbance. HPD isn't wrong but it was based on the family member trying to disarm him because he wanted to kill himself.
HPD statement above is a synopsis and doesn't include everything that was going on. That would be a paragraph, not a one sentence blurb.

He got into an argument with his sister, shot a gun into the ground, ran away from the cops and killed himself months after getting a man killed by driving recklessly months after he cost his team a win by pretending to shoot an opposing player with a shotgun.
It wasn't the social media that did Kyren Lacy in.

Eh, well known athlete is probably gonna hear about it regardless of if he's seeking it out or not.

Her and Sammy are bending themselves into pretzels trying to come up with "magic bullet theories" to explain away all of this behavior or blame shift without Lacy taking any accountability whatsoever.
It really doesnt matter what some slimy personal injury lawyer says on TV, or some reporter being fed information from the Lacy PR camp. He caused the death of that man in Chackbay. He fled the scene. He also discharged a gun, ran from police, and ultimately ended his own life. FULL STOP. He was not a victim of prejudice in any way. He was beloved in this community and if his mistakes in Lafourche Parish could have been discreetly handled, they would have.
His story is a combination of poor discipline, mental health issues, and terrible decision making. Maybe if he had gotten some help sooner, this all could have been avoided, but he is not a victim.

In the beginning, I was pissed at Lacy for doing what he did to himself. He could have gotten more solid support somewhere to face his negligence that caused the marine's death. He needed to accept it and do the best he can do under the circumstances to make amends(jail time, give back to the community etc.). We are all retards at some point and yes the facts are the facts but as we knew him, he obviously never intended to kill anyone although probably didnt think past 3 minutes the danger he can cause. Easier said than done right, but there are now 2 heart broken families. All we can do is be more aware of our families and friends and notice the red flags of mental illness and help people. He didn't off himself because of the pressure, he off'd himself because he always had mental dysfunction(illness). What's crazy is sometime simple meds can help tremendously.
As far as the atty is concerned, his crooked arse is trying to do is make a dollar.

Again, he didn’t hit anyone.
So blame first falls on the car that crossed the centerline and hit the other vehicle.
they can deflect that blame by claims a sudden emergency, but that basically require there to be a situation where they had no time and no options while also not being at fault.
Basically it’s the woman’s fault unless she was reasonably likely to hit lacy if she didn’t swerve.
The car in front of her was able to stop or slow down and avoid lacy. If she was operating her vehicle safely she should have been able to stop or slow down and avoid lacy too.
instead she swerved into oncoming traffic.

Jaques is not just "some reporter". He is sports director at a TV station.
He is not a hack like Guilbeau is.
He isn't biased and has always reported sports news fairly. Speaking to relatives about what happened isn't the KL PR camp. Where else are you going to get facts about what happened? Kyren can't speak.

He has to say I think because he didn't personally witness any of KL's recent actions.
