Remember 2000, Mississippi State? 45-38 (OT) - that was way too fricking close,

dude State was fricking solid in those days. they came into that game ranked in the top 15.

this is one of the underrated "loudest games in TS" contenders. Would not be surprised if were a 2 or 3 point dog going in.

ETA: I just looked it up and we were 5.5 dogs

Curley and Dinardo beat them like a drum.

That's never a game I think it's going to be all that close, even when Dak was there.

Regardless when you've had 8 losing season in the 11 previous years and you beat a top 15 team as a 5 and a half point dog, there's no way you can put that on any kind of "disappointing win" list.

Fair enough - we had lost to what turned out to be a decent Auburn team, then followed that with the embarrassment that was the UAB game. We beat Tennessee (a team we used to have more trouble with, on a percentage basis, than Bama) and went to the Swamp to take our (then still) automatic loss like men. We recovered nicely (with 3 losses at that point) to blank Kentucky.

At that moment in the season - obviously I was happy to have the win, but to sweat that one out through OT - not my idea of a good time.

I remember the game pretty vividly. They had us on the ropes going into the 4th quarter before we roared back. I was sitting in the South Endzone and it was absolutely rocking. You could feel the momentum swing away from State and their body language changed in a big way. Went to Reggie's after the game and got wasted For me it's a great memory.

You just listed every Les Miles clusterfrick game except the Ole Miss debacle game and the horrible mudbowl game in Orlando.

Miles-derangement syndrome seems pretty well permanent and possibly terminal. Dude coached 114 wins. 114.
The majority of those wins were against mid majors or lower division teams, and of those that weren't, in a large percentage of them we barely scraped by for a 1 to 6 point win in an ugly game we were supposed to win anyway.

Well that's just plain false.

What is the actual percentage there, Dr.?

The horror.

Miss State 2009 when we needed a Chad Jones Punt Return and a goal line stand at the end of the game to beat them. Horrible

I get your sentiment, but I love that game because Chad Jones 4th quarter was epic. He went off and took over that game when they needed him.

I was furious after the North Carolina game in Atlanta. We looked so lost. It was Mathieu's first year, he wore #14.

That's what immediately came to mind. I'm glad we won, no doubt but I was so ticked off at how we looked.

I know for a fact I have watched every LSU football game for the last 15 years and I remember zero plays from that Auburn 2012 game. That was a snoozer.

Vanderbilt 2004

Nondescript game, but Ben Wilkerson was lost for the season late in the 2nd half.

Winner of the thread. Wilkerson was injured on the last play of the game. Tigers won 24-7.

Iowa 2004 - The first and only time I saw a Saban coached LSU team just quit.

Alabama fans love to tell me that Saban tried sooo hard that game and Iowa was just that good......

Edit also I'm an idiot who forgot this is about VICTORIES we definitely lost that game
