Yeah i get what he's saying, but who talks about invisible players anyway? The guy just sounds out of it in all of his interviews.

Les talking about the invisible player, is a direct shot at all the tards that think placing a person on him would help.

All 11 folks have a responsibility, removing one could be a disaster. Our speed is our spy. We will slow his big arse down enough to win if we can just be average offensively

Why the . . . . would you want our head coach telling the other fricking team what we're going to do to them? Some of you people are . . . . insane.

They already know you are not going to spy on Cam. They don't expect you too. Until now . . . . Now they have to wonder if Miles is just crazy enough to do it.

I dont really expect anything he tells us,the fans, to be entirely true. Why on earth would the other team even pay anything any attention

I think he meant that he would need a player to have no other responsibility other than Newton. But with the style of offense AU runs it would be hard and probably costly.

Absolutely! These are the same type of idiots who demand the Pentagon publicize operational war plans against our enemies because they think they have a "right to know". lol I think Les can be deceptive when he needs to be. Regardless, LSU D is good enough not to need a spy dedicated to Fig Newton. This will be a great chess match of wits between John Chavis and the kitty cat OC Gus Malzahn. Chavis will prevail because he has much better talent with which to work. Gus will end up out-thinking himself all afternoon trying to out guess Chavis. I just don't see the computer thief-turned Heisman candidate getting impressive stats this week.

Personally, I think the staff is more qualified to make that decision

If that's Chavis, then yes. Cooper yes. Haley Maybe.

If that' Miles, then frick no.

He has NOTHING to do with defense.

They replayed the Ark-Auburn game on Cox last night.

Cam is just too big and fast for one spy to contain him.

I imagine we'll see a stacked box, and mostly some man-to-man coverage. I'll take my chances there. No better year to do it than with this years DB personnel.

Sounds like we are going to have 11 guys on defense spying him and the rest of their offense.
Look for PP and Shep to blitz some.

Has anyone "spied" him yet and did it work?

I doubt Les Miles ever used the word parlance. Ever

Chavis is intent on forcing the offense to scheme around what he does, not the other way around. And that's a good thing. If we want to allow the other team to dictate what we do on defense, we're in trouble. And I have full faith in Chavis.
