Gee, I dunno, maybe the same way we had faith in a dude that lost to #24 Auburn 34-17 and then UAB 13-10 (and also Florida and I ranked Arky) back in 2000.

Come to terms with the fact les is gone and is not coming back.

What was that guys track record prior to LSU ?
Explain to me how Edward Orgeron's track record inspires belief ?

He also benefited from a weak SEC west during his first half.
Dumbest post I've seen in some time.
5 Natty's won by SECW members '05-'12, 2 of the rest were won by yearly cross div opponent UF, and that leaves Texas as sole non-SEC during Miles early years.
The SECW is much smoother sailing now than 5-6 years ago and 3 non-SEC teams have won NCs over the last 5 years.

He's comparing Edward Orgeron to Saban ...hahahahah

Under Les, it always felt like we were never going to turn the corner to compete for championships again no matter how well we played or how well we recruited
Yeah in 2011 I thought we had no chance of competing for a championship

Yeah, keep comparing Orgeron to arguably the best CFB of all time. That'll help your cause.
We didn't need "faith" in Saban. We just needed to afford him time to do what he'd proven to do everywhere he'd been previously. That's not faith, because we've seen it. That's where the entire comparison falls apart.

Yea, this place has gone full amnesia with the first 5 games of the season.

I want to believe but two wins against teams we should beat isn't enough to convince me.
I'm a Les man all the way but to say that we should beat Florida and Auburn is disingenuous. Florida, Auburn and LSU are equal in abilities. So, LSU lost to two teams they should beat then won against two teams that are toss ups.

This year's UF team is dogshit. We absolutely should have won this year, and we should have won last year to boot.
Beating Auburn this year was a good win.

Saban took a 6-5 Toledo team to 9-1 in 1990, then became the Defensive Coordinator for the Browns. He comes back to CFB and takes over a MSU team without a winning season since 1990. Despite losing 9 scholarships to NCAA sanctions, he goes to 3 straight bowl games from 1995-1997. He then goes 9-2 in 1999 before coming over to LSU.
At LSU, he goes 8-4 with a team that was 3-8 the season before. Sure, he lost to UAB, but that team lost to Houston and barely beat San Jose State in 1999.
Orgeron came in with a 10-25 record as a head coach, and a losing record even including his two interim stints. He took over a roster that won 8 games the year before and promptly turned in an all-time worst performance against Mississippi State and lost to Troy at home.
They're not in the same stratosphere.

Hahahhahahahahhaha
Try sticking to his numbers as an actual HC, not interim.
Substitute teachers don't deserve credit for final grades.

Horrible analogy.

taking over 2 teams during conference play and going 6-2 for each isn't bad is it?
Les Miles last 23 games was 16-9...17-6 is better would you disagree?
