Krob gets the hate because he has had two unsuccessful seasons at the plate already. While stats may be similar at this point, Fraley has a better overall body of work the last 2 seasons compared to Krob.

just checking buddy - I'm hoping last night was an awakening for him. He has probably the best glove on the team. If LSU is going to do anything in post season, it will be imperative that we have serious contributions from Krob. He is definitely one of the vocal leaders on the field and in the clubhouse.

Well by that same logic you should discount RBIs bc they're dependent on the players in front.
Secondly more extra bases hits (or SBs for that matter) allow runs to be scored on outs by the batter. Runs scored is an equally important stat to RBIs. OB% and Slugging% are the most important stats IMO.

). And it's not like he set the world on fire the last two years - quite the opposite, really. I'm cheering for the guy. I love what he brings to the field and like his patience at the plate and he seems to have brought the stick out early on this year. You are acting like Kramers "hate" comes from the 5 games played this year. It comes from 2 seasons worth of lack of hitting. Also, I don't see true hate in most baseball threads. I just think people don't expect much from Kramer based on what we have seen. I think everyone hopes he can turn it around
