Before Fournette touched the ball...the line was definitely stacked. Bama was just smart and didn't show their hand before the play.

I really wish LF7 would have waited for the coordinator hire before declaring. If Canada could have sat down with him and gone over the offense he could have seen what an opportunity he would have. Basically what happened with Chark. I imagine Canada gives a pretty good pitch.
So you're telling me if you were guaranteed to make as much money as him and projected to go as high in the draft, you would have come back?

He was the freaking 4th overall pick in the draft

It would have been a poor decision not to turn pro in his particular case. He was a guaranteed top ten / probable top 5 pick. His stock could get no higher as a running back. To come back and risk injury for statistical purpose would have been a bad choice.

And coming off an injury plagued year. I would have seriously questioned his decision making if he decided to come back for another year.

I would have listened to what Coach C had to say regarding finding ways to not run into a brick wall 25 times a game. It would come down to whether or not I thought the new scheme could realistically lead to a Playoff/Heisman type year, which would seem plausible.
Just imagine Fournette at one wing, Guice at the other, Williams in the middle, and the Etling we saw vs BYU with Chark/Gage/Dillon on the outside. Then go change your underwear.

12 players on the field?

He woulda ran against a zero man front in b.r.
Nah, he would have dressed out in Baton Rouge, sprinted to New Orleans in full pads, run for 300 yards and then jogged to Jacksonville in time for practice on Sunday.

Yes, in his entire career he never saw a 7 man front at LSU good times

Seriously? What could possibly have happened that would have given him a major improvement in his draft stock?

Great for us, but what would it really gain for him?
He did the right thing for himself and his family, which is all he is responsible for doing. I hope he wins Super Bowls and MVP trophies out the wazzoo. I am thankful that he chose to come to LSU when he could have gone literally anywhere else.

LF7 would kill in this offense.
For sure. Of course, I think he'd have done much better last year too if he'd been at 100%.
But that's Miles' fault as well because if his ridiculous practices

To clarify - Chark and either Dillon or Gage in that particular formation
