For a prime time Saturday night kickoff, it will take 1-2 hours just to get to River Rd. Only then can I begin my drive to Metairie.

Don't park on the west side of the stadium, especially the Alex Box area. I park adjacent to the parade grounds and take Dalrymple on the way home. It's quick. Once you get on the highway heading west, I take the 2nd exit and turn around to I-12.

LSU needs to really do all they can to get more than 1 or 2 big home games. I mean it’s a never ending cycle. On odd years, we’re lucky if Auburn and or Florida end up being a big game. Even years we get Bama that’s a given but we’d be lucky to get a 2nd top 10 ranked team come in.

It’s garbage. All you people arguing for staying at 8 conference games clearly don’t actually go to games. Adding 1 more SEC game increases the possibility of another top 10 or top 15 ranked team coming in. Some years we won’t be lucky and we get Vandy or Carolina. Fine, but I’ll take the chances.

What lot do you park in? I park in the Old Front Nine lot and live in Kenner. After the game, I jump in the contra flow going south on Burbank, and drive to Gardere. Take a right on Gardere, then hop on Hwy 30 to I-10 in Gonzales.

In total, it takes me about an extra 10-15 minutes on this route than it does with no traffic going to campus early in the morning. I’ve done this route for a few years now and it’s been the same whether we are playing La Tech, or a big SEC game.

Aside from the game in the Superdome, I’ll be watching the Tigers on tv this year.

i park on Skip Bertman Dr near the entrance to the softball stadium. they force us to river rd, and it takes forever. i have tried to change lots, but I tailgate in the lot on the corner of skip bertman and nicholson. dont want that walk to become too long.

on top of that, i am just getting old.

Won't even be close to selling out. 50k at best. All these neutral site games need to be clipped, not just LSU, but across the board. Home and home is where it's at. I'd rather see them play in that dump in Tallahassee, than the Superdome.

Doesn't matter LSU fans are so fairweather they'll leave at halftime in a Bama game that's tight.

Well when it cost a minimum of $250 to go to a game that has lot to do w it. Tickets. Beer. Parking.l……or you could sit home and watch game for $7 on espn+

You could buy a brand new HD 50” TV and a jailbroken roku for $250 and watch every sports game you ever wanted for the rest of the season for the cost of 1 game

If they are going to charge those prices the overall experience has to improve. Not crammed into metal bleachers with a bunch of mouth breathers and siting in traffic for 3 hours.

I can understand the negative comments… I have season tickets for many sports and a place 976 steps from my front door to the stadium for attending lsu events.. it works for me …. but I picked this as my retirement hobby instead of a fishing camp etc…and specifically to reduce the many valid complaints op mention.

Things have changed a lot in the last 10-15 years.. the negative comments are valid complaints.. price and logistics for a family to come and enjoy a game have gotten pretty bad..

and I am not sure how the new farm teams are going to relate to the old school school teams…

Regardless Geaux Tigers!

I'm still coming for a game in the fall, hopefully this means a ticket for the Gumps or Black Bears will be more affordable.

I remember when I was excited just to be on the waiting list. Now they can’t even sell out the lowers.

Of course the issue, in my opinion, is manifold. The prices are too high now and there are too many seats since the SEZ expansion. Also, parking and traffic is a nightmare these days and people would rather just watch at home.

Also LSU went woke.

I called the ticket office last year and left a message for season tickets.

Nobody ever called me back.

Too expensive to be the only person sitting in my section after halftime. LSU fans just aren't that fun INSIDE the stadium.

$$$ The price of the tickets in the dome for LSU/FSU are crazy.

I’m going. Prices aren’t that crazy. Plus it’s in the Dome. Love that place
Ain’t passing up the chance to watch the Tigahs play and hang out in NO for the weekend.

A majority of the games are rent-a-wins
This is the biggest problem for generally successful college football teams. Only 3 or so home games are interesting.

No traffic to beat leaving the dome. When I had Saints season tickets I'd be in Metairie 10 minutes after getting in the car.

Next project needs to be doing something to reduce general seating and adding club seating. Make game experiences more luxurious and appealing. Total seating should shrink back down to around 80,000. Tiger Stadium standard seats are never going to fill up again unless a top 5 SEC team comes to town and that's pushing it. I wouldn't say Death Valley is dead but it's a shell of its former self for sure.
