We don’t bunt for a hit. And this isn’t an extra innings tied game. It’s the third inning and you’re taking the bat out of the hands of freshmen with runners in scoring position. I’d like to see them hit.

Not even close to their ace, but a guy that they want to have at least some big, back end innings out of and maybe work into the rotation. Absolutely no slouch, just some control issues this year. Defense hasn't helped him much tonight.
