I don't get the fans on here sometimes. But whatever. Looking forward to next season. I hope Lane can right the ship. See some of you in the basketball threads, others in the baseball threads, and most of you in next season's threads.

A big frick you to all those players that opted out. Y’all are losers, quitters and absolutely terrible team mates. May you all go suck a fat one.

Defense played terrible. MVB just isn’t that good.

West Weeks and Pyburn will forever be quitters. They weren't ball players. Obviously didn't play for the name on the helmet. They only played for selfish reasons.
Help me understand why a guy like West doesn't play. Wtf does he gain by going "train"? He very well missed out on the last game of his football career

Not a homer. I just understand that he was choosing this game minus 6v starters. I get he's had issues with mobile QBs. I'll let you in on a secret though. Most college defenses have trouble with mobile QBs. It's he worth the $3 mil? I dint think many coordinators are but let's not act like he's not a top tier DC.

Isn't that atleast 90% of the players today? NIL speaks louder than school loyalty.

Can these guys on defense who stay be coached up with more time or is it a total tear down too? Know second/third string was playing. Got a snarky comment when I said I was concerned about the defense way back in the 1st quarter after three (actual) penalties in a row.

Went to bed at halftime. Looks like I saved myself a lot of disappointment.

It's a meaningless bowl game. Only time will tell how that will affect their draft stock. Saying that I guess they were thinking about their future.

With a competent offensive line MVB could be a solid QB under Lane…
Posted on 12/28/25 at 10:19 am to Shaq4prez
I am not suggesting - truly asking - are there guys that “major in football” and simply stop going to class, skip tests knowing that opting out of the bowl is easier route? Are “grades” even a criterion anymore? I mean, how will they be with a professional contract?

Pretty sure what he took over at Ole Miss was a lot worse.

If Cooley would have been looking at the ball the whole time he could have had a chance of grabbing it and running it in for a TD lol Houstons hands team were sleep walking
Hate to be that guy, but the kicking team cannot advance the ball after recovering an onside kick. Had 2 player that both had their hands on it...story of the season, glad it's over and we can all move on.
