This team has no plate discipline whatsoever. I’ve never seen a team get overwhelmed so easily.
Not that Mize isn’t good, but they’ve done this even against mediocre pitchers. It’s like they just throw in the towel and take wild hacks.

We can't come close to hitting Mize. We are lucky when we can foul one off. Completely overmatched. Should have saved Hilliard for tomorrow.

A guy like this I actually think you look to go first pitch swinging. He doesn’t walk anyone so you know he’s pumping strike one in there. Make him adjust and throw something else first pitch.
