That was one of the worst halves of offensive execution I’v seen under Wade. Forced brick after brick from 3 with no willingness to attack the rim. PSU isn’t a good team…but they have Big 10 athletes. You can tell it was a wake up call for a team that has played nothing but mid majors to date.

The good news is LSU is only down 3 after shooting 29% in the 1st half and 14% from 3. Days played stupid and was taking really dumb shots. I do think he was fouled a few times and that added to his frustration, but he took a number of bad shots (and Pinson being completely off is not helping). LSU needs more transition baskets.

Days is not a shot creator. If he thinks he is it is going to be a rough year for him. He has to allow the offense to create looks for him

This Penn State team is physical. Hopefully in the second half our depth wears them down.

The defense needs to create turnovers in order to generate easy offense. We are not good at executing half court offense

I feel like we should be able to get plenty of offensive it backs, but we are shooting such silly 3 point shots early in the possession we can’t get in position to get the rebounds.
I also feel like their guys are getting away with a lot of hip checks when we shoot near the lane.

Would be nice to see Pinson have a good 2nd half. I keep thinking he should have the experience to help us in games like this.
