4-12? Have you even watched any of the other teams? That will only happen if injuries occur IMO. The SEC has already suffered some brutal out of conference losses and isn't what people thought it would be coming into the season.

WE WANT LLAREDA!!!!!!!!!

The only teams that look good so far have been Kentucky, Tennessee and Ole Miss. Other than that the rest of the league is a crap-shoot at this point.

It looks like Trent has finally taken the leash off of bass. After he made that driving lay-up he had great confidence and played very well towards the end of the game. If Trent let's bass continue to make things happen he can be a great player.

You know it's not your season when you gotta play g*ngers.

Hmmm I dunno. we are pretty terrible. The WORST team by far though is Georgia.

We aren't terrible. This isn't like football where in the 6th game of the season things have become clear. The only things we know thus far for basketball is that we have little depth and we can't hang with the premier programs of the country (see UConn). If Bo is in the game against Arizona State, we probably could have won.

Exactly what I was thinking. Bo Spencer isn't nearly as good as people give him credit for. At most he should be a 3rd scoring option on a team.

The real problem at this point is they only have 3 guys who can really score (Bo, Tasmin, Storm). You could really see this in the ASU game when Bo was out. Not so hard to guard two or three guys.
And I think Bo is as good as people give him credit for. He is very hot and cold shooting the ball, but I think he plays good defense and makes excellent decisions on the break. He shoots a lot, but there is no one on this team that I would feel more comfortable with taking those shots.
Best case scenario is no injuries (as mentioned) and the continued development of some of the secondary players. I really like Harris, Bass, and Dotson. It would be great to see Dotson and Harris contribute more offensively as the season goes on and Bass continue doing a solid job at the point. Anything we can get from other guys is a bonus. Possibly Kinsley (who played some good defense in addition to having a big game scoring against ASU) and Green (who has been bad on both ends, but may improve once he gets into shape and starts to trust his back) could give us a little something. I've not been as impressed with Ludwig or Farrar (in the past), but they may be able to fill some minutes as well.
My expectation at the start of the season was to host an NIT game (postseason). I'd still be happy with that for this year's team and I think they could possibly develop into a borderline NCAA team if all falls into place.

there are ex HS basketball players walking LSU's campus that can score 15 a game and shoot 31%. Dude needs to get it in gear or start passing more.

The team needs to improve its outside shooting. They have struggled so far this year when opponents play a zone defense and the offensive production goes down drastically.
Storm continues to be a monster and it looks like Taz is starting to get his game going. Like many have already said, the team needs to stay healthy to avoid an abysmal season. If that happens, a NCAA appearance is possible, but a NIT bid looks likely.

I think Bo is overrated as well. He can take us out of a game just as much as he can help us. On the contrary, I think he has the ability to be very good if he can make better decisions and have better shot selection but to say he is very good right now is not true imo

Bo is an excellent player if he plays within himself - letting the shots come to him. The problem is that he's the only legit outside threat on the floor and open shots aren't coming his way. I also think trent may be asking him to do a little too much.
This team won't be as good as last years team but they will be a lot better than they are right now.

I think Bo might be asking a little too much of himself

Agreed - he is trying to do too much. I haven't seen trent try to rein him in though. His role on this team is much different than last year. Last year he was a third option and had the sec poy in the backcourt with him. He never had a hand in his face.
Its just going to take a little time. It sure would be nice if dotson could find his shot. Most of his shots aren't even close.
