i hear what you're saying but if you think fans from other big programs are any different you're wrong. you don't want to be anywhere near a bama fan or Tennessee fan after they lose another game (when they are down).
your comment about the wives are crazy man. you are violating the code when you regurgitate guy talk.
fans pay lots of money to be fans. south louisianians are very passionate, vocal and emotional. they say things about their football team that are not really meant (mostly) and recant when they cool off the next day. they love their tigers man.

Damn man, I was there too and also remember sitting through LSU getting beat by Tulane in the rain, but enjoyed the hell out of the atmosphere even though we weren't winning. At that time, I had no idea that I would see the success that LSU has achieved in my lifetime. Having said that, I understand the desire to continue that success and the constant strive for improvement that should be the norm in human competition.
I really don't understand the animosity, based strictly off of what you posted, but hope you find some happiness in your life that prevents you from getting this bent out of shape over something that you claim to have given up on decades ago.
